I have no doubts that this thing will be in my crafting tools arsenal for a long, long time. Creation options are endless! Make anything from junk journals, calendars, planners, scrapbooks, and anything you can imagine in book form. Great Machine. Watch video so you understand how to use it. Sharpen your blade with foil if you feel they aren't sharp enough. It's great for quick projects for both parents, crafting and of course kids. Very easy to use with video instruction. Tips and tricks are shared on videos as well.

I am a special Ed teacher and have been making my own reading notebooks for kids to use, as well as a due process notebook and my own planner. This machine is super easy to use. You will need to play with it a little bit if you are looking for perfection in your notebooks. One side punches the holes. The next side holds the comb to put your punched papers into, the 3rd side squishes the comb down to make the notebook secure. I recommend watching some you tube videos for tips on using this the best way possible. The directions that come with are good, but content maker videos take you farther.. highly recommended. I will note: this is not long enough to punch (or squeeze/cinch) a regular length notebook- you need to punch twice and cinch twice (which is another reason those videos are helpful) this is portable which is very convenient, so for me offsets the inconvenience of double punching/cinching. ... show more

This binder works very well for short bindings. If you need to do a full 11inch binding it takes some work to assure you get the holes punched correctly. I'd add a couple tabs on one side that can help to get the holes aligned or even a pull out alignment guide. Otherwise, the binder works well and is a nice size for storage. ... show more
