Quality waxed, preassembled Deep box, easy to assemble frames, quality, sturdy feeder, entrance reducer, inner cover and telescoping top cover w/metal. No mention of size of gloves on website but they have a 'XXL' tag sewn on them. They 'just fit' man's wide hands but might be short in fingers for men with very long hands. Glove leather is thinner than other gloves I bought elsewhere. White veil is very easy to use and has delicate mesh. Might tear easily. The tan hat smells funny and is more cumbersome to use, also, thicker mesh to see through. Will keep that as an emergency extra. Smoker is fine and hive tools are essential! I love that the beetle traps included!! Brush, pellets, uncapping knife, fork, frame grip, shovel, wire embedder, small feeders, queen cage and marking tube are all extremely useful tools and you'll probably need to get them eventually. This 10-frame beehive box kit has been absolutely perfect for getting us started with beekeeping right in our own backyard. It comes with everything you need from the hive components to all the essential tools and even two beekeeping veils, which was a great bonus for both protection and comfort. The wood looks beautiful and feels sturdy. We found it easy to assemble, especially using a staple gun instead of the included nails for a quicker, cleaner build. So far, it’s held up great and we can’t wait for bees to settle in. If you’re a beginner looking for an all-in-one beekeeping setup, this kit is a fantastic value. Highly recommend! Great starter kit but giving less stars for the plastic smell. I had to leave everything out of the box on my pool deck for a whole day. Most of the smell dissipated but the frames were really odorous. My Beekeeping Mentor said it would be okay but I prefer my bees to not have any toxic fumes. I purchased different frames for colony safety. Otherwise, built well and the tools seem worthy. The hats are very flimsy but I already have a good one (ComfortPro). The gloves are nice. I purchased a metal queen excluder separately because - again - plastic. When I purchased this kit it had a 20% coupon so I feel I got a great price even though I had to replace a couple of the times with better quality so I would have more longevity. ... show more
