Description

When new pups are born, their mother naturally emits pheromones that give the puppies a sense of security and comfort. These pheromones help dogs bond to each other and their mom. ThunderEase replicates these pheromones for a drug- free, vet-recommended, calming solution that puts an end to unwanted behaviors like destructive chewing and problem barking. ThunderEase is effective in treating: - Fear of loud noises like thunder and fireworks. - Uneasiness in a new home or environment. - Stress when socializing or during training. - Problem barking. - Destructive chewing. - House-soiling (or “uh-ohs” as we like to call them). - Travel anxiety such as shaking, vomiting, panting, agitation, and salivation. - Stress when visiting the vet. - Anxiety when boarding or kenneling. - Stress caused by changes in the environment like new furniture or remodeling.

  • ThunderEase Works But Be Prepared To Give It Time...
Size: Large
ThunderEase calming aids work wonders for helping our dog feel safe. We always know when her T-collar is nearing the end of its potency because she is noticeably less confident towards the end of the collar's life. We want her to feel safe so we'll keep buying them but they are expensive and they do not always last the entire 4 weeks. I'm guessing the collar's life is affected by the number of or intensity of situational anxiety triggers which affect her body's stress responses and increase her body temperature. More stress means a shorter collar life because body temperature is what activates the pheromone release from the collar. We are noticing that she's developing coping mechanisms over time but it does take time and we've probably spent just over $250.00 on T-collars in the past year. We don't use the spray unless we're close to the end of the collar's life and such use has become less frequent. We don't use the diffusers any more as she gets more continuous support with the T-collar. Anxiety disorder is a thing for dogs and our girl has come a long way in the past year since we started using the T-collars. We've used the diffuser system, too, but it sprayed onto the walls above the diffuser. The spray works well but only lasts about 4 hours and comes in a very small bottle. It is also expensive. We saw a better value using the T-collars. The spray is best for intermittent stress like short stranger visits inside the house. ... show more

  • Highly Disappointed 😞
Size: Small
1 star only because I cannot do Zero stars. Very disappointed in the product. Purchased with 2 other products from this company/line for 20 month pup who has crate/separation anxiety. Used with Plug in & Calming treats. DID NOT WORK FOR MY PET. I attempted to return but Amazon wouldn't allow me to. Now I'm stuck with a product that is useless to me. Huge waste of my time and money. I do not recommend. Zero 🌟 Stars. ... show more

  • Wonderful and Worth the Money!
Size: Large
I’ve been using this anti-anxiety collar for my 45-pound dog, and I’m really impressed with the results! The collar fits perfectly and adjusts easily to her neck. I’ve combined it with wall plug-ins for extra support, and it’s really helped with her separation anxiety. The collar is super easy to take off if needed, and there’s no smell, which is a huge plus. Best of all, my dog doesn’t even seem to notice it’s on! It’s made a noticeable difference in her stress levels when I’m away. Highly recommend this product to anyone dealing with a dog’s anxiety! ... show more

  • Works but not very long
Size: Small
We are repeat buyers. On number 14+. Our purchases are buying 1 or 2 at a time because of bad experiences with aitocharging items. Therefore we do not benefit by the lower rate. Sadly. The product works well the 1st week, then declines rapidly the 2nd week & barely makes it to 2 wks. Therefore we give 3 stars. This product has a strong oder even tho the pharemone should not have oder. While we support the results of this collar--when its opened new-- the longevity & price for poor longevity, are not impressive. Thunderease needs to do better. Thinking we deserve a better price or freebies about now. ... show more

  • Works!
Size: Small
A dog trainer recommended this collar for my PRT. I was skeptical at first. I started to see benefits by the second month. The collar seems to help her focus and relax more around us but doesn’t take away her PRTness 😆. No smell. Easy to adjust. It is a bit pricey but knowing its benefits makes it worth it. I don’t expect to use it long term but just to help out with training in the puppy phase. ... show more

  • MUST READ IF YOURE STRUGGLING WITH A NEW DOG IN THE FAMILY!
Size: Large
After my mother passed unexpectedly, I had to bring her not so small, 115 lb, 3 year old American bulldog fur baby home with me. I already had 2 pits (1 male, 1 alpha female) 1 female chihuahua, and 4 cats. It had always been her and my mom and not many visitors. People were not the problem, although no one is allowed to walk down the sidewalk according to her. She was stressed to say the least. She was panting out of control, heavy breathing. Any little noise was setting her off and sending a 115 lb rocket hurling around the house. Then there was the biggest issue ever! The aggression she was showing towards our dogs with food, toys, and anything else she thought was hers and never had to share before. Even me, (I’m guessing because I look so much like my mother) i was her human now. If one of mine jumped up on me to get a head scratch, here comes Sadie Mae. She was creating so much stress for me that I could barely grieve because I was 100% of the time worried about Sadie. Having a newborn in the home would have been easier. Giving her away was never an option and neither was keeping her in a kennel, all the time. The first fight was very minor. Walmart bags were brought in and Sadie did not like other dogs looking through them and she started in on the female pit. The second incident was more serious. My daughter came in at midnight and disturbed all of the dogs. In the excitement of that Sadie started in on the female pit again. My second pit jumped in, to defend and now all three 100 lb dogs are fighting. It took 3 adults to separate them. Nothing that required a vet visit but NOW WHAT? I googled how to calm a stressed dog and this brand popped up. After reading more about stressed dogs and then reading reviews about this product, I decided to try the collar and the calming chews. The collar was put on and kept on 24/7. The collar is a large and we change it out every 3 weeks. I only used the chews if I knew someone was arriving home or a stressful situation was coming up. This was a noticeable difference with her. No more heavy panting. It was pretty immediate too. We haven’t had anymore incidents and now instead of attacking, she uses her weight to push them around or out of the way. She is still showing them she’s taking the alpha position but there’s been huge progress made! They are starting to flow as a pack again and I’m no longer concerned for the safety of my fur babies. You have to put the work in still, It’s not a miracle product in that sense. I still took precautions to protect them all and tried not to put them in certain situations too soon. It’s a slow process but it does work. There were some days I wasn’t giving chews and some days I was giving them as calming maintenance. Never had to give the amount that was suggested. Thought that was too much and kept her in a zombie like state. We are more than 2 months in now. The first month we didn’t have the collar or the chews and it was a nightmare. The second month has been life changing using them. ... show more

  • Doesn’t work compared to the spray
Size: Small
I put this on my dog, hoping that it would have the same reaction as the spray Adaptil. The spray completely calmed my dog’s nerves and made him a lot happier. This color seem to have little to no effect on said dog
