i ordered this for our kitchen counter. what you see on the pictures online is what the stools really look like. it really looks nice and looks expensive. Our other family members saw and complimented it. i was looking at other bar stools on amazon but found this the most affordable and most fitting for our house. the other stools i looked at doesnt rotate or adjust height but this one does! and its half the price and it also comes in a set already. it doesnt come assembled but its very easy to do my husband assembled it in about 10 minutes. i guarantee that it wont dissapoint you. ... show more

I like the plastic molded seats for durability and easy cleanup with young grandchildren. They are not super comfortable for adults for a long period of time though. Very easy to put together. Just be sure to take two caps off of the hydraulic portion. I missed that in my first one and it won't work right if you leave the tiny cap on. Otherwise, super easy and fast assembly.
