Having had a sign company for over 25 years, I can easily say that I have weeded literally miles worth of vinyl. I really wish that I would have known these existed, if they even did all those years. This is some serious good clock for the buck. They take two AAA batteries. And I always recommend people to invest in rechargeable batteries. I highly recommend these tools, not just for vinyl weeding, there's a plethora of other applications that they can apply to in the art and craft world.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this a month ago. I dont know how to contact the seller but after 2 weeks of using these one of them is broke! The weeding part will not stay inside the pen so im unabke to use it at all. Its frustrating because it was awesome for the first 2 weeks. I am 2 days past the return window and that really sucks!

I'm returning these today. There aren't the worst I've ever used but they're not great at all. The distance between the light and the tip is far too long which creates two problems. The light isn't able to hit the vinyl enough to illuminate it enough, you have to hold it at an angle for it to even help a small amount. Which isn't helpful. And you don't have as much control since the tip is double the length as other ones. The tips aren't even as sharp as you would expect, they're very fat. The tips don't screw into the base very easily as well as the battery door seemed like it wouldn't hold up to too many changing of batteries.
