This is something I debated purchasing for a long time. However, when using smart vinyl in the rolls, I found it was super difficult because the roll wouldn't stay straight while cutting, or it would bubble up and mess up my cuts. I would recommend this product, but I would not pay the full price for it. So if you can get it on sale, I would do that. ... show more

I've been resisting this because it seemed silly for the price. Surely I can get by without it just fine. Well, the stars aligned finally - I was cutting some extremely long pieces and there were a lot of them, AND the roll holder was on sale! I took the plunge and I'm so glad I did. This thing made it SO MUCH EASIER to work with really long pieces of vinyl! It holds the roll still and it also has a built-in cutter which is incredible. Seriously this takes all the fuss out of the process when you're cutting directly from the big roll. I would say definitely try to get it on sale - not sure it's quite worth it at full price. But I really do love this accessory and I highly recommend it for anyone using smart vinyl in large quantities! ... show more
