No complaints. I originally bought this in 2019 and had used it a lot up until a week ago. To clean it, I usually spray the metal arm with dawn, wipe, rinse and then dry with a towel. When drying this last time, the metal thermometer part pulled out of the housing. So I bought a new one. I got 6 years of use out of it before it needed replacing. Although I guess I'll be more gentle when washing it. I love the instant read. I'd never go back to the old style thermometer. The battery lasted a very long time. ... show more

Arrived as promised and item was as described. It's accurate and easy to use. This is our 3rd one of these. In our home, they last between 1-2 years, but we use it several times each week so it gets a lot of use. The part that wears out/comes apart is the connection point between the probe and the handle, so it helps to be gentle and hang on at the base of the metal probe when cleaning it.
