This thermometer is great little device. Fast, easy to hold, easy to read, seems accurate. I had to remove a star from my rating because just after the return period closed, the lock/release mechanism snapped, leaving the probe without support to stay open. Well, it is plastic in a vulnerable spot. Now I have to be careful when inserting it since I have lost the leverage provided by that locking mechanism. This makes it less easy to use for sure.
