I absolutely love this thermometer. After working in food service for years, my standards are high (most thermometers are terrible). This one is so easy to use. You just press the button to release the probe, press the power button to turn it on, and you'll have your temp reading in about 5 seconds. I like the fold-in design for the probe, which solves the problem of constantly losing the cover, a problem I've had with other thermometers. This one is durable too, I've used it many times now and when I'm done I just wash it off and toss it in a drawer, and it continues to work perfectly. I'm not sure how long the battery will last, but it's held up so far. Overall, highly recommend this product.

No more worrying about cutting into certain meats to make sure it’s done. Just use the probe and check the back of the thermometer to see the list of the temperatures for certain meats if you’re unsure. Size: Easy to read and is magnetic so it can be stored on the front of size of your refrigerator when you don’t need it.

I use an instant read thermometer daily for anything I cook or bake. I have a great thermometer at my primary home but needed one for my second home. I chose this one because of the ratings and reviews. This thermometer is very lightweight and has a plastic feel to it. It has a magnet for storing on your fridge or other metal surface. That is a very handy feature. The probe is deployed by a button. The probe doesn't fully extend on its own. It extends about half way. The unit must be turned on manually. The display has a light that lasts for about 10 seconds. The thermometer reads a temp quickly. It does hesitate for a brief second before it starts to read. The probe can only be collapsed by pushing the button. That makes it a two handed process. I have things I like about my primary thermometer such as the probe fully extending with a button push but then easily collapsing just by pushing the probe. That is a one handed job that is convenient when I want to quickly put the thermometer in my apron pocket or set it down until I need it. It also is wider and easier to hold. This thermometer works well. It's decent quality but it is lightweight plastic. It doesn't have all the features I'd like to have but it gets the job done. For the price, it's a good deal. If you are more elevated in cooking, baking and meats then you might want a better thermometer with more features.

Just what I was looking for in an instant read thermometer. Simple and compact design that hopefully does the job it was intended (haven’t had a chance to use it yet). Best of all it closes and fits in a small space and just takes a AAA battery.

Great thermometer. It has definitely elevated my cooking game! This is my second one. I accidentally dropped the first one the floor with the probe extended and unfortunately it broke. I IMMEDIATELY got online to order another one because I was planning on grilling and roasting the next day. The new one arrived overnight and I was prepared for my meal. Can’t be without this!

I purchased this for use with deep frying. The oil has to be just right! This thermometer has everything plus. It's easy to store, easy to clean, simple to use, medium priced. I would certainly recommend this ThermPro thermometer to cooks of any skill level.

This is my second one. The first got a lot of use and lasted at least five years. The magnet is nice and the unit hangs up where it's handy. Seems very accurate and is easy to use.
