I’ve tried a few different electric blankets before this one and none of them compare to this baby. I didn’t have the highest expectations for material but like the flannel side as much as the Sherpa. Fantastic combination since: other Sherpa or micro-fiber e-blankets can feel too clingy or claustrophobic when you’ve reached optimal toastiness. The flannel side makes the structure more manageable so I don’t feel like I’m fighting the blanket. I’m also not a huge flannel fan since I feel like flannel is a trap for hangnails and fiber pilling, however, that’s not been my experience with this and I love the smooth, clean appearance. I’ve only washed it once so far but it did great and I just lay it over a couple of chairs in the sunniest part of my house to dry. I prefer a large blanket to cocoon with but this one also folds up nicely to wrap around my arms or rest my feet on when I’m at my computer. The heat/time settings have a good range and the cord is a good length while holding shape well enough that it’s easy to plug in to anywhere I wanna chill but doesn’t get tangled in the rest of the blanket. The settings controller is larger than any other electric blanket I’ve had but it stays where you place it instead of getting lost in the blanket and it’s not like it’s heavy. It’s also great unplugged. My new cat buddy also loves this blanket. She’s been super picky about beds but if I’ve left the blanket folded up somewhere, I always find her cuddled up on it. It’s actually great since she has a bit of separation anxiety and would always be in my lap or on my shoulders if I let her but I can’t get anything done when she clings like that. The blanket seems to make her feel a lot more secure when we are separated so I can have a break! And since she has some neurological issues that have prevented her from getting spayed yet, it made her second heat a much calmer experience for both of us (she’s a little over a year old and has only had these 2 so far)! And of course we both cuddle with it together. I don’t think it’s the most lightweight blanket? but it’s certainly not heavy. Like I said, the 2 fabric structure makes it very manageable and I can still cocoon when I’m in the mood. I could go to sleep at night on the floor with just this blanket. I have poor body temperature control from poor circulation and taking fluoxetine but I’ve not really woken up in the full-body sweat I would under my bed’s duvet and it goes all around the house with me. 10/10 💕 ... show more

I absolutely love this blanket! Now that we’re approaching the cold months, I turn this blanket on a few hours before I go to bed so that my bed is nice and toasty when I get in it. I appreciate the timer on it as well so I can fall asleep with it on and then it can turn off so I don’t get too hot. There’s also different levels of heat and you can heat both sides of the blanket if you’re sharing on just one side. I ordered the "Thermee Micro Flannel Heated Blanket with Sherpa back" from Shavel Products based on what appeared to be decent reviews, this blanket showing up on multiple "best heated blanket" lists, etc. After receiving, I didn't have a need to use it right away as it wasn't quite cold enough, so I kept it on a spare bed for a couple months until it was cool enough to need. It worked great for the first 2 days, and then I received the F2 error on the display. Google that, and you'll find it's a fairly common problem. The resolution is to call up the company and supposedly they'll send you a replacement control unit. Well, that wasn't my experience at all.. I called the phone number listed in the user guide multiple times, and they NEVER answer the phone but an automated message tells you to leave a voicemail that they'll return. Guess what? They don't return those either. So, from my experience, there is ZERO way to get ahold of the manufacturer in the event of any problems. As it had already been over 30 days, my only recourse was to contact Amazon and get a refund issued, although it included a 20% restocking fee, so I basically lost about $30 by buying this product. I just got this blanket, and let me tell you…I can’t get out of bed! The material is incredibly soft yet sturdy, and it keeps me toasty from head to toe. What I love most is how easy it is to use! Just plug it in, choose your preferred level of warmth, and you’re all set. Not only is it durable, but it also feels a bit like a weighted blanket, so it’s extra cozy for those chilly nights. I guess in response to a 1-star review, they got the thing to me overnight. This ships at turtle speed. I paid a bit more and invested in quality at this price. This is a beautiful print. I like the fabric top with a ribbon band at the top. I like the sherpa/fluff backside. I enjoy the control, and especially that it lets me set a specific number of hours are left. On high heat, this will bake you - but that's exactly what I wanted. :-) I usually run it between a 6-7 to sleep. I hope to enjoy this item for years to come. I bought this blanket in March 2021. It has failed to warm up this winter 2024. Luckily we are headed into Spring 2025 soon so I will survive by using other electric throw blankets I own. It’s a disappointment to spend decent money on a blanket with a 5 year warranty only for it to only perform for 3. It is horrible getting into a cold bed after becoming accustomed to warmth. I have another twin size by the same company on a guest room bed but as for this full sized … it has failed me. Was nice when it worked though. ... show more
