The Xmarto camera system is an must have for those who wish to have affordable surveillance with feature rich interaction. I complimented my four stationary camera set with two of their 360 cameras and have been very satisfied with their performance and keen sense of detection. The night vision simply is quite amazing on all cameras and once you get to know the settings, and PTZ functions of the 360 cameras (if you indeed splurge on their purchase to add to your system) your total area of coverage is almost overkill to a degree. The picture and recordings are of high resolution and you have the option to set your system up as you please concerning network speed or quality of picture. Be forewarned however, to get the most out of your system, read the instructions and guides. This is a system you can basically plug and play to a degree, but to get the most out of your NVR and cameras, you should definitely get to know your system in and out. I keep in contact with support when there are areas that I do not understand or cannot find and they are right on top of every request I send them within 12 hours. (You have to also remember, they are on a different time schedule then the US, so keep that in mind before you complain on here, as I have seen complaints on here regarding that unfair assessment about delayed support) Another complaint I have seen is the NVR function “always recording”. Well of course it will. That is the main purpose of an NVR system HOWEVER, ,you can set schedules to what times you wish to record continuously if you chose that option. Myself, I chose to record only upon triggers, such as motion, body, or human detection and it sends my phone app those alerts. The NVR allows you to set up your recording really any applicable way you wish, so again, RTFM. Support wise, I do not think you can find a better company to be honest. I have inquired multiple times to support and they have always got back to me within a 12 hour period, if not sooner, depending on when you send your support request naturally. Everything from calibration, failed hard drive in the NVR, firmware updates and false alert status, feedback and suggestions to product updates, they have been rock solid and stand behind their products. Their website is going through some updates, so do not be alarmed if you run across missing pages. Simply use their search function and not google, and you will find what you are looking for. There are a couple areas that could use some improvement, and that is the sensitivity settings and app snapshots of what triggered the camera in the first place. Sensitivity being, that with the lowest setting of sensitivity, the camera will still trigger due to a insects flying around, rain, snow……etc. Now, to be fair, there are a slew of cameras that have this same issue but there are others that have perfected sorting that pesky issue almost to non-existent status. The snapshot preview “trigger” photo function would be nice simply because knowing what set it off helps determine whether you need to call 911 immediately, or pull open the app, find the recorded video, and then play it back. Most other systems provide a snapshot of what set it off in the notifications and the Xmarto app does not do this. Another feature that I would like to see, is the ability to do the camera settings from the Xmarto app even IF, the cameras are linked to the NVR. When the cameras are wireless and working off your home wireless system and NOT the NVR, those options are available. I guess perhaps an NVR app would be a cool addition. Along with that suggestion, I would also like to see some integration into Apple Home. At any rate, as it stands, it is more than a complete solution for your home, yard or business. The fact that the NVR is the main control center for all of your cameras and options galore to fine tune your system any way you wish, at the price that is offered, should be a no brainer for those looking to have an affordable surveillance system that is rock solid in camera construction, design and function. Factor in the amazing support that Xmarto offers and you cannot deny the value of this product. Add on more cameras like I did to really give your system and home that total solution!

Worked good for about 2 weeks, then it started to beep, shut down and reboot. I emailed the company about this problem and at this time I have not had any response from the company. I did some research and found out if you unplug the hard drive it would stop rebooting which it did. I would returned this product but I have about 6 hours in labor mounting the cameras. There is also a lag in the cameras which sometimes it does not even pick up the movement outside. It also freeze frames the movement The cameras are still working and are clear but with this hard drive I can't record for play back. . At this time i cannot recommend this product.

I have kids at home. We need safety and security for our family. I have a few different kind creams. It’s mostly one by one. I need download a few apps for those a few different kinds creams. This one is come with 4 creams . I just need to download one app for my hold house . And the instructions is so easy. The beginning I think is hard . I wait for my husband do the installation job. He too busy . I just need to do it myself. That’s why I keep watching YouTube videos before I do it. Lol. It’s super simple. I just put all the wires together and put it on .all done. That’s just 5 minutes. I take this picture is when I put in on . My son love it on the camera. He want to show his face, lol. It’s looks so clean . That’s why he want to play around with it. Love it. It’s totally worth it.

I have bought an Xmarto security system twice over the past 6 years and love the easy set up. The latest system kept shutting down. The support from Xmarto was responsive trying to help. In the end I had to return it and get a new one which works perfectly.

Everyone who sees my views from these cameras are impressed, particularly with the color night vision. My furthest is about 100 feet from the NVR. I use these to monitor my farm. If weather is funky, so is the signal. The long distance antennas are an absolute must as they are useless without them in my experience. Set up is not too bad, I'd suggest if installing at a distance further away (50ft+) to set up the camera connection close to the NVR, then disconnect from power, bring it to where it will be mounted and plug it in. This way, the NVR already had made a connection to it previously. I added 6 cameras for a total of 10. Photo of my goats during the winter (IR, not color night vision)

App needs a long over due update. Car lights set of the camera. Does not always detect motion. Takes at least 2 minutes to receive notifications. Takes two long to review video and two tires to get video's to load. Sometimes it will detect motion 50 feet away and other times you need to be 6 feet from the camera. Does not record fast moving objects very well. Directions and documentation are poor and hard to read.

For the price it’s worth it. I love that you can set a schedule, choose to make it record continuously or motion only. The night vision is great, my neighborhood has NO street lights and you can see great with it. All in all it’s a great deal for what you get. The app can get frustrating but it’s not terrible. I’d recommend it to anyone.
