I've written code for living for 36 years and also made a circuit board or two, here and there, but didn't know this type of printer which didn't require a computer to setup even existed. You can if you want, but you can just use your phone and connect via Bluetooth. I used my Android, but it works on an iPhone, too. Ok, yeah, I didn't pay anything for this, didn't pay any attention to the price but had a use for it. It was when I started playing the app, that's when I thought, what? You can print PDF's, Images (Black and White) and more. Then I ran across a big template library for multiple purposes including holidays and events at no extra cost. The app has a very clean UI, intuitive and easy to use. As a software guy, I can say they did a very good job on this and put a lot of thought into it. Setup was easy and quick. One little thing you need to make sure of is getting the labels in there straight. Took me a couple of times to get the hang of it. I have an older printer like this, but no Bluetooth capability and only prints smaller labels. One advantage to this size is you can print the smaller ones as well. After setting it up and played with it for a bit, that's when I looked at the price. That template library on its own sure did kick up the value and usefulness of the product. You have a well-built, very professional written app, along with a piece of hardware that fits right in along the same line of quality...if you need something like this, this is a no brainer in my opinion. Lots of value for dollar. If I rambled too much, sorry, having some fun with this thing. Going to stick some notes around the house for the little lady before she gets home so I can see that cute little smile on her face. ... show more

    • Reliable printing for small business needs
I was surprised by how easy it was to get this label printer set up with both my phone and laptop. The Bluetooth connection with the app worked smoothly, and USB installation on my Mac was quick. It doesn't need any ink, which is a huge plus, and it came with a nice starter set of labels. The print quality is sharp and fast enough for daily shipping needs. Just be aware that it won't work with WiFi or Linux systems, and you'll need to load labels properly from the back. All in all, a very handy tool. ... show more
