The media could not be loaded. At the entry level for commercial label printing, the competition is stiff, so you can make fairly nuanced buying decisions based on your budget and printing needs. With the NefLaca printer, you don’t only save on the printer’s cost, but even get your choice of a black or white chassis, with or without Bluetooth. This printer is similar in size and weight to a few other competitors ones I was using before, but significantly smaller and lighter. All those competitors have multiple connectivity options, including Ethernet and Wi-Fi. In contrast, the NefLaca supports only USB. It's a good fit for a single workstation in a small mail-room or a home office, but probably not for someone looking to add this to their home network though. The USB and AC power ports are located on the back of the chassis, as is the paper input slot. The only real physical control is a combination power toggle and status LED located on the top, which could be confusing at first. Printed labels/stickers are fed out of the face of the machine. But anyway, here we go… GOOD 👍🏻 - Exceptionally low running costs - Wide selection of inexpensive label media - Can also print stickers (using blank stickers rolls) - Can print on colored paper/roll (as long as they are “direct thermal” compatible) - Prints VERY quickly - Easy to deploy and use - NO ink required - Printed label are scratch & water resistant - Supports most shipping and other labeling applications NOT SO GOOD 👎🏻 - Black “ink” printing only - Need special “direct thermal” paper in order to work (cannot work on regular paper/roll) - Label often jam when the printer is powered ON and need to be re-loaded - No networking capabilities - Drivers could be difficult to install depending on your machine - Label that comes with the printer are see-through. Not good to cover pre-existing labels. - ZERO Support (they never replied when contacted with issues. Sorry guys, loosing stars here!) The NefLaca also ships with drivers (on USB key & CD) that provide a basic interface and let you create and print rudimentary labels. It should work with most Windows and macOS programs. Most importantly, it supports label printing apps from FedEx, UPS, USPS, and most other global shippers. The media could not be loaded. The label printer is very fast, it was kind of hard to set up because of the directions, so it took me a minute. Other than that it works fine and I use it for my business!

The Iphone app that I used is called HereLabel that goes with the machine...it is not the best app to use but it works. My only trouble is sometimes the label prints too small but after a few tries it comes out okay. ... show more

It's an ok printer once you finally set it up and get it to start printing. It was definitely not easy to install for a Macbook. So many steps and I realized it isn't wireless which is my mistake. The printing quality is also so bad. I attached a photo to show what I mean. It's not solid lettering and looks choppy, not sure how to really describe it. I wish I can send it back but I stupidly throw away the box but I guess this will do for now. ... show more

I had a few issues getting the labels to work at first, but then relized it was paper settings I had in certain apps. Just make sure in selling apps when you are printing labels, that all of them are set to 4x6 and you should have no issues. This is so much easier that the way I was doing it! I would buy this printer again! ... show more

I could NOT get this to connect to my MacBook or Mac. I reached out to support and tried all of their recommendations but it just wouldn’t work. I finally pulled out my old Toshiba laptop and was able to use on there. Installation was easy once I was using Windows. Now I have to work off of 2 laptops but at least it works/prints well. ... show more
