I think it helped reduce the stress of our older cat who passed away 16 days ago. She had been with one family for 14 years but they moved multiple times in the 2 years prior to us getting her. In those 2 years she was moved in with aggressive cats who stalked her and turned her sweet nature into an anxious one. When we adopted her 17 months ago at age 14 years she was accustomed to urinating on anything left on the floor....anything, a purse, clothing, towel, laundry clean or dirty, toys, etc.... She would sometimes go in closets and pantries and urinate in there also. Within 3 weeks of plugging in 4 different brands of pheromone diffusers and using a scrubbing agent for cat pee scent she stopped so in all fairness I cannot be sure which one helped, or if it was the combination of them all.
