So far I like these handles and sorry I didn't order them sooner! They are not as quick to adjust length, but are so much easier on the hands. Mostly I can adjust resistance by other means than band length (like stepping further apart) so they work great for most of my exercises, plus you can always bypass them by gripping in another location if needed for a specific use. After suffering pain from wrapping bands around my hands for years i consider these essential and motivating (I actually look forward to band work now). I hope the foam holds up a long time. Not as convenient as clip ons like I have on my tube's but for those stupid PT bands work great. Big hassle to switch out tho so if using more than one color band you may want multiple sets. Your hands will thank you.

I bought these handles because I knew how much easier my physical therapy exercises were to do at the therapist office than at home using the cords they give you because there are handles on the ones you use at PT. My hands always hurt from holding and pulling on those cords at home so I decided to buy the handles and wanted the actual brand they use. These are so easy to attach to the cords and are very comfortable which assures I won't skip my exercises because those cords made it uncomfortable. I'm glad I bought 2 sets so I don't have to change them for the 2 cords I currently use. When I'm ready to move to tougher cords that's when I'll change them over. They are definitely worth the money, not that they are expensive because they aren't. ... show more

These handles work great. My physical therapist had told me to just hold on to the rubber band but that is nowhere near as comfortable or effective as if you purchase the handles. These handles are very reasonably priced and make the physical therapy that much easier. I do however question their authenticity because the writing on the side of the handles is in capital letters and everything that Thera-Band does is in lowercase letters. I will add, follow the directions on how to insert your bands into the handles. My physical therapist office just tied the band in a knot but if you follow the prescribed directions, you do not have to tie it in a knot and it actually holds better. ... show more

One of the problems I had with flat resistance bands was that I always felt they were pinching at my skin. It's a minor thing, but it made me not like using them, even though the non-latex therabands are the easiest way to get something I know is not made of latex (we have an allergy in the house.) These handles … are so simple, and so effective! Once you get the hang of it, it takes a second to slip a band into and out of the loops on the handle. They're comfortable and easy to use. And they're not really significantly more expensive than the handles made for round tubing, so I'm really glad I got them. ... show more
