I weigh 200 pounds and I never get close to weighing through it to the bottom. It’s actually quite firm, feels nice and I have been getting a good nights sleep with my Purple mattress. I almost got Casper and another brand but I am very glad that I finally purchased this brand. You are getting a fine mattress at a reasonable cost point. Costco also had a foam style mattress but this is better by far. The grids on top don’t feel like grids at all. If you didn’t see them you would never know they are there. I think that if you stay with the base model as I did, you will get a really good value. It doesn’t look or feel cheap at all. It feels every bit more expensive than it actually is. I am super happy that I got mine and can recommend this to you as well. ... show more

This is my second “purple mattress”. I love mine so much that I purchased this for my daughter’s guest room. I’ve had mine for three plus years with no complaints. When I visited her before I could not sleep on her memory foam mattress, not only was it too hard but unbelievably hot. I look forward to visiting now. I used to be strictly a side sleeper but I can now sleep on my back in comfort. This mattress does not get hot. I am not disturbed when my husband turns over. I got this to replace a very soft mattress that people were just enduring. It's for a room my son's nurses sleep in occasionally. The day after I got it I knocked on the door and peeked in. The nurse was still in bed so I asked her how she slept. She laughed and said she had already texted her mom to see if she'd buy her one. I decided to just lay on it one morning about 9 after my son got off to his school. Two hours later I woke up. Haha! Yes, it's super comfortable!
