Seems like a quality item. Got it today, install was simple. Seems pretty nice, not sure if it is up to the standard of the Aeron but feels quite nice. Only time will tell of it lasts. Had no issue with tightening everything and ensuring it doesn't more. Will update if i have any issues. So far haven't experienced any of the slips other mentioned. Build quality is okay and locking mechanisms just okay. It doesnt lock in as tight as I preferred even adjusting the tension screws and sometimes I like to press my head back to stretch my back. Perhaps I received a defective one. The headrest also seems to slide up and down not very smoothly. One side is tighter than the other and they arent tension adjustable (the two rails).     • Great add-on to your Aeron Chair, but a little overly priced
During covid-19, working at home becomes a major cause for upgrading my 25yr-old classic aeron, which still perfectly supports my back. Every time after repeated long-running video conf. calls, I wish to have a good rest for my head and neck. It’s working perfectly in that manner, and shows a pretty similar design language to aeron. A downside is its price. Material quality and function couldn’t match with the over 100 bucks price.     • Serious design issue: Headrest cannot retain the adjusted position and falls down.
The headrest doesn't stay in the position and falls down with slightest pressure. You have to adjust the height often because of this reason. Other than this the headrest looks great. There is no locking mechanism for headrest. Update: Headrest falling down is a serious design issue and needs to be addressed. Unfortunately I didn't use much in the beginning and I can no longer return the item as the last date to return has passed. ... show more

Ordered the Engineered Now headrest for a new Aeron chair that I have ordered as I preferred the cleaner more minimalist design. Quality of product is as described. I have seen some reviews online stating that the headrest can move down on the support arms freely, but Engineered Now have included stoppers as part of the packaging to correct this and It seems that they have also redesigned the vertical support bars from smooth to staggered to further reduce the ability of the headrest to freely move on the support arms. Just waiting on my new Aeron to arrive so I can try it for comfort and fir. ... show more
