Recently in Seattle we had a BOMB CYCLONE weather event which knocked out the power for several days. We are in a total electric home so we couldn't even boil water to make a cup of coffee. I bought this little stove to use out on the patio to have as a backup in the event of another power failure so at least we can cook a simple meal, heat up water for coffee, and boil water for other purposes. I also bought a six pack of the gas fuel. I keep this in my pantry in case of emergency as a backup plan. I will use it outside on my patio if I ever have to do it in a power failure situation. Very happy with the quality for the price.

I went on an extended camping trip with some friends and this was absolutely awesome. The price is great too because I thought something like this would cost somewhere around $40. I used mine for cooking as well as for keeping my tent warm the few cold nights we had. The only thing I didn't like about this was that it didn't automatically light when I turned the knob. I think it's meant to do that but I had to use my lighter. Maybe my unit was a little defective but outside of that, this is an awesome little stove at an awesome price. I cooked about ten meals with this on low and medium (my propane didn't run out either). If you want a stove for camping or for something else, definitely consider this. It's built well and the price is hard to beat.

1) Carry box will not shut completely 2) Door to insert butane is hard to open, it sticks closed 3) Flame will not adjust to blue it is yellow, so it creates smudge on your pots 4) So far I have not received a response from the company about how to fix the yellow flame 5) As of right now it is trash do not buy

I bought this to use specifically for camping. It does work very well for that. It is very lightweight and almost suitable for back packing. I say useful in many situations because it also came in very handy during a power outage. Keep extra cans of butane, you never know when you may need it
