This is a great little device, I store under passenger seat. I used it for the SUV so I can get to the storage box on top. easy to take on/off so I can move it from door to door. This product did not disappoint. It is very sturdy, easy to install, and protects the paint with its padded back edge. It also has a point on the front that can be used to break glass in an emergency like a child locked in a hot car. Feel very secure when using them and makes access to the top of my SUV easy.

This step is small, I can only place the ball of one foot on it. It is sturdy and nice quality, but isn’t very stable when placed on my vehicle. When stored away in the included pouch, it rattles loudly, I had to wrap cordage around it to keep the hook from making noise while driving. I like the concept of the step to help reach the roof of my vehicle, but I do not feel safe when stepping on this thing. I would suggest always having a person spotting you when on this if possible, that’s the only time I will be using it.

at 5 feet tall, trying to pack the top of an SUV is challenging for this very fit elder. this step made me feel like spider woman! my improvement suggestion would be that I wish it were just a bit wider for stability.
