Haven't used them yet but packaging made of plastic and very difficult to remove. Even with scissors. I ended up using one of the sets to take apart the other set in order to remove the plastic packaging. I then used the set to remove a door knob. The Allen wrench metal isn't super hard and the tip became shiny from use (black coating wore off on the very tip). To be fair, i was using the wrench at a slight angle to the bolt being removed. The body and wrench are reasonably strong but there was a little sign of torque twisting things when using the wrench. All in all seems like a decent set for household use but not super tough if you're using it professionally.

I give this product some stars just because it holds multiple sizes of hex keys in one tool. It's useful because I don't have to carry around a ton of different sized bits. However, the positives stop there because this thing is just not designed very well. The worst part about this is that the keys are extremely difficult to pull out their stored location. You can certainly loosen the keys to make it easier to pull out. The problem is that the keys are locked into the tool using a hex screw, which you obviously can't use the tool for. So basically, you have to use the other set (fortunately it comes with 2) to loosen the keys in the tool. Also, you have to loosen/tighten these very carefully; if you loosen too much, they wiggle like crazy when you use it. Too tight, and they won't come out. If you're looking for just something to use for hex screws, go ahead and get these. They aren't designed very well at all but will do the job.

I would buy this again. My product came with no instructions and no understanding how to adjust the tension on the folding out of the hex wrenches (aka Allen wrench). The Seller also told me how to deal with the problem. They said the next batch will be corrected. Now I will inform them of a new suggestion. The sizes are just printed on and I had a couple smear off so you cannot tell the size. I am going to recommend these numbers need to be engraved even if they need to charge $2.00 more. As for the product I like the convenience and think it is GREAT.

Just finished using set to tighten the door handle on our refrigerator. It was practically falling off. Bought these because I couldn't find my others. Decent set of wrenches. Made in Texas? Probably not. My 2001 Tahoe says "Made in Texas by Texans" on the door jam. I think Texas lost their bragging rights to China many years ago. Some reviewers complained of the individual keys flopping around, but they can be tightened up and loosened (just use one of the wrenches!). Also some complained of numbers coming off but haven't had long enough to noice that. But most or all of the larger keys have the size stamped on the side. Had some difficulty getting the cardboard separated from the set but not a big deal. Overall, I'm satisfied with the set. So 5 stars until I find out otherwise. But recommend

Very pleased with these items. Well designed and constructed. Very convenient having keys secured in case. Case/handle is non-slip plastic for easy grip when using. Great idea making metric and SEA cases different colors. Now I can throw away all those unmarked sets of loose hex keys. Highly recommend these items.

I am pleased with the hex wrenches. They perform the jobs I need them for. Had to remove a star because the card they are attached to is so tough that I had to try several cutting implements to get the wrenches free and they still have rather sharp edged bits of the plastic (?) card embedded in the handles. Maybe the mfgr. will change to paper so you can at least soak off the display card...if that won't cause rust.

These are very well made and comfortable to use. They feel good in the hand, each piece swings out easily and you can adjust the tension. As it says in the description, on is Metric and one SAE. They do have a lifetime warranty as does the card they are mounted on I think. My only complaint is that I had to take each tool apart to get the indestructible card off. Each tool is attached to a hole punched in the card and you have to remove the screw on one end to slide the punched card out. You can't tear the card so I had to cut a tool off and then use it to remove the screw in the other. Fortunately they seem to have designed it well so one can remove the screw in the other.

Good: Compact, precise and tough. Bad: Comes on a tough plastic card - too tough; you pretty much have to disassemble the tool to remove it completely. The two bolts that hold the tool together also determine the resistance of each tool to fold in and out, which means that you can't tighten them down solidly and expect to be able to use any of the wrenches. Proper adjustment plus a drop of loc-tite on each bolt took care of that. Bottom line: It does the job, and the few nit-picks are acceptable at this price. Five stars.
