The Walnut color is beautiful, the shoes are well made and several strangers commented on them the first time I wore them out. VERY pleased with these. I wear a 12 or a 12.5 depending on the manufacturer and a size 12 fits perfectly. I usually go with Cole Haan dress shoes, but these are noticeably more comfortable. Have owned 5 pairs of AEs over the years. This one looks and feels as nice as the others, but the left shoe started squeaking the second time I wore it and continues to squeak with every step. I bought a pair of these shoes during Allen Edmonds' spring sale after doing an Amazon Prime Wardrobe try-on. I gradually broke them in over a month and started to wear them for extended periods of time. On a Sunday morning while standing in the line for communion at church, I started hearing a creaking sound coming from my right foot and it was my shoe every time I took a step. It eventually stopped but would continue off and on while I was out in public or at home. I sent the shoes back to Allen Edmonds and they told me I'll probably have to continue wearing them and it'll stop, but this is the first time I've ever had a problem with any Allen Edmonds shoe as a customer. This used to be one of the best brands of shoes when they were made in Wisconsin by skilled workers, but since it was purchased by a large corporation, the quality is going downhill and the classic styles are dying out.
