I don't do a lot of automotive work, but got into a bind replacing a pinion seal. I have quite a few m18 tools for woodworking and was looking for an impact wrench from milwaukee. I couldn't justify the $250 HD price tag and found this here for considerably less. I had a pinion nut that I couldn't get to budge with a 3/4" breaker bar, this took it off in half a second. Was concerned what I was getting for this price. Thought the price was too good to be true. But, it’s legit, and new in the box for a lot less than anywhere else. It even arrived earlier (a few days) than what was listed when purchased so that’s a bonus. Tested it and works like a champ.

This mid torque has plenty of power. I've removed 5 sets of wheels, axle bolts and a few bolts for the suspension this thing has not missed a beat. It even removed my mower blades with ease when I couldn't break them loose with a 3 foot breaker bar. Worth the wait for shipping which came a day earlier than expected instead of spending 250 at home Depot I paid 180 for it on Amazon ... show more

There is no comparison between this Milwaukee mid torque impact and its smaller version (Milwaukee 2855-20). I have both and never use the smaller one anymore. This tool has saved my butt more times than I can count. Saved me more money than I have spent on it with all the wrenches, sockets and bolts I would have broke without it. If you work on your own vehicles this is an essential buy. Spend the money, save the time.
