The price was right with this bed, but the quality is just OK. One of the boards did crack during assembly, and there are a few spots where the paint looks like it needs a second coat. 2 of the metal circle pieces that secure the screws broke, cheap metal. My husband had to re-drill holes in one of the pieces during assembly. We are currently not using the bottom bunk, so it’s more of a hideout for my daughter at the moment. I reached out to the company directly for a replacement piece for the board that cracked, because Amazon will only do a full return/refund and not replace pieces; but have not heard back from them.

Arrived damaged because of the weight of the Single box it was shipping in. Since it was minor damage and not structural I decided to keep it because of the problems with getting it here. It’s cute and sturdy but small and best for children under 8years old. The slide is very slick and kids will have no problems sliding down but I’d suggest a soft, flat pillow at the bottom to avoid injuries because it’s a fast landing. The directions are all pictures and you’ll need to watch closely in the directions on orientation of each piece or you’ll be redoing your work. Mainly watch where the screw holes are and which direction eac should be facing because there is no explanation of that. It takes 2 people minimum to out this together and we opted to build it on its side to make the work more manageable without anything falling on us while screwing it together. It’s pretty easy to lift upright afterwards. We put this together in about an hour and a half because we did have to redo a bar that wasn’t oriented in the right direction. You can easily hang curtains on the bars so that’s a huge plus! For us this is a cat house for our foster kitties and they love it! We’ll be putting carpet on the slide for them to go up and down. The handy little platform on the side is meant for an alarm clock and drinks I think but for us it is a perch for the kittens. Overall I’d recommend this bunk bed but I wish they would have shipped in two boxes so that it wouldn’t be so heavy to ship and get damaged.

Similar to other reviews, I found the product arrives with damaged wood and blemishes. The manual provides a distributer name (Gigacloud Technology)but states to contact a local dealer for parts. I also sought instructions for building the bed with the steps on the right. There are no customer service numbers and although the Amazon rep. tried to help find alternate instructions, she found none either. I googled the distributer phone number, and when I pushed # for customer service, the call disconnected all times that I tried. Once a person answered and then disconnected me. I tried to Chat with Gigacloud Tech. but despite telling me in Chinese that I'm next in queue, no agent appeared until I left my computer an hour later (tried several times). I also sent an email and received no response. I went forward with my build (since I already unpacked and carried upstairs all the parts. I glued damaged wood and found that the instructions being all photos presented a problem because I wanted to build the bed with the slide on the left side and the stairs on the right side. The photos only showed how to build the bed with the slide on the right side and the steps on the left side. I learned of this problem after step 5 and having to tear down and start over 2 times, that building it the alternate way requires a different alignment of the wood pieces, which most are numbered but many missing stickers. I recommend using an allen screwdriver bit on your power drill, but with final tightening using an allen wrench so as not to split the wood. Using only the L shaped allen wrench could be tedious with so many screws to insert. I can't recommend this product due to poor quality control. Some damage looks like they repaired at the factory which resulted in a "patch" and even the good pieces have scratches and dents. Also allow many hours due to the instructions.
