I ordered this for an interior door that we need to have locked. It works flawlessly. The installation was easy. When I first powered it up the lock has voice prompts that I wasn't aware that this lock had. It was a little concerning, because this lock is on a bedroom door and the voice could disturb someone sleeping. Nothing in the instructions said anything about how to turn this off. However, once I added the lock via Bluetooth to my app (we have other smart devices), there is a setting for volume and mute. So far we've just left the voice prompts on low volume and it works great. If you want the lock to remain unlocked you just have to push the button on the inside handle and the door remains unlocked until you push the button again. Programming the lock is easy and once connected to the app it's even easier. I would say it's well worth the price. I would recommend this product. ... show more

This handle is awesome! It keeps my kids out of my office and closely matches the other handles in my house. It was very easy to install. The fingerprint reader works effortlessly every time. I saw some comments about “what if the battery dies”… and it is this is taken care of by a charge port on the handle outside of the door and backup keys you can store somewhere else in your home. This may not work for everyone, it's kinda light on feature to be used as the primary main door entrance lock, but as an interior door, this was perfect for us with 2 toddlers that have absolutely no respect for privacy. the thumbprint reads very quickly and easily unlocks, and I love the single button push to change it to passage mode (not locked). not having a number pad as a backup way to access is definitely a negative though, and the linked app was very difficult to set up (i gave up after trying for 30 minutes). as an interior door lock though, really great. ... show more

It has the lock feature option as well as the option for the door to remain unlocked so you don't have to use your print to get in your room or wherever each time the door closes. Assembly was easy and straight forward
