120 some bucks for 3 boxes beautifully executed! I have paid 3 times that for ugly boxes with antenna sticking out and several plugin extenders that were even uglier with spotty Wi-Fi and half dozen different Wi-Fi names. In comes the Tenda Nova MW-12 and everything changed. Let me tell you, the setup took all of 15 minutes from opening the box and all gadgets at home humming like crazy! I think it took longer to dismantle the old setup! LOL. Anyway I retained the old Wi-Fi name and password as I had too many things connected by Wi Fi and I did not want to reconnect every one of them individually. Some are in the crawl space controlling yard equipment like the garden fountain and landscape lights. I hooked it up to the Spectrum Modem with the Tenda Boxes (Nodes) Downloaded the app on my phone and configured a few things. Restarted the Modem and Tenda Nova Node and Voila! I had 100% signal all over my house and covered the entire 5600 sq ft beautifully. I placed the nodes at three different areas to maximize coverage. So far speed test in every corner of the house blows away everything I had before and its not even close. I don't know how reliable these things are but they appear to be well made and should last long. Very much impressed with Tenda Nova. I understand they are pretty basic when it comes to routers but unless you are a geek or you are some fancy computer guru who expects crazy things, this in my opinion is more than adequate for all the non techie non geek mortals who simply need good coverage and speed in a single Wi-Fi name all around the house. Setup could not be any easier and basic and basic is all you need. MESH Wi-Fi is the way to go for larger house with 2-3 levels as it switches automatically for the best signal.

I had TP Links Wireless system previously. I upgraded to this system and it works great. Easy to set up and have had no connection problems. I gave the TP Link system to my daughter for her house.

I got a 3 pack because I didn't want to be lacking for a signal, I could have saved some money. Nowhere in the description did I read that these supported hardwired backhaul, THEY DO! Could have easily gotten away with 2 of them. Maybe I'll need a third at my next place. I'm pleased as punch with these. The only thing they lack is the ability to drop a device so it will connect to another pod in order to balance the load better, but none of them is anywhere near capacity. COMPLETELY IMPRESSED!!!

I have been putting off replacing my old equipment for years until I saw this Mesh unit. After watching various videos on the Tenda installation, I finally took a chance of working with my network. To my surprise and delight, the installation was better than advertised! In less than 30 minutes, I replaced my router, increased coverage throughout the house, and gained more speed than I ever could have imagined! I sincerely recommend this unit for anyone looking to improve their home network.

Nuestra casa tiene 3 habitaciones cocina y sala ,coloque el primer nodo en la última habitación conexión cableada , en menos de 15' coloque el segundo nodo en la cocina y el tercero en la sala menos de 15' ,tengo contratados 600mbs y el sistema mesh nunca llega a los 300mbs, también tiende a desconectarse y hay que volver a colocar la contraseña solo tengo 9 dispositivos y mi opinión es que no cumple con lo que describe el producto tiene demasiada perdida y tampoco hace las transferencias de señal de un nodo a otro correctamente ,definitivamente se debería mejorar y así valdría la pena pagar el precio .

October 2022 -- For 90% of the DSL, cable, or direct internet users here, the Tenda MW12 is a great system, easy to setup, easy to use, strong signals, and has decent node switching while moving about the house. For the price, a great deal from a little known company. For anyone on a fiber network (I have CenturyLink), you will still need another router in front of the primary MW12 node as you can not set a VLAN id, in this case 201 for CenturyLink in the PPoE settings. Its just not there. So, for my setup, I have my old Asus with wifi turned off, acting as my PPoE router to the fiber ONT, and then have the Tenda MW12 in bridge mode. This way the same IP network shows up on the Tenda wifi and no dual nat situation present (you can also do a static network route from your main router to the Tenda network). However, the bridge mode only showed up after I did a firmware upgrade on the Tendas. Long story, I will probably return the MW12s as the entire point was to go direct from the Fiber ONT to the MW12 and that's it. I do have a 8 port tenda unmanaged switch connected to the MW12 as most of my office gear is CAT6 connected and those work great, but mind you, the MW12s only have 2 RJ45 ports on the bottom.
