  • Amazing and easy to use!!!
Size: 10.5FT
When I received this, it was the perfect height for us. You can adjust the height! It was extremely light, and very easy to transport. It also comes with A bag to store. When my husband used it, he was suprised how lightweight but sturdy it was!! 10/10 recommend!

  • Good
Size: 10.5FT
I got this ladder to do some house work and it works great. It is sturdy and it extends easily. If I don’t need it, I could easily store it somewhere. I would recommend this!

  • Well-made, stable feel (for a telescoping ladder), safe collapsing mechanism, mediocre carrying case
Size: 10.5FT
The media could not be loaded. I really like this ladder! It feels well-made, stable even when standing at the top, and the collapsing mechanism is way safer than I thought it would be. Read my ***note*** section below for how to extend the ladder only part-way... it took me reading the included directions to get this correct (imagine that). But first, let me get the ONLY minor negative I've found out of the way: the carrying case (which other ladders may not even come with in the first place) didn't fit perfectly on the one I received, and the velcro on the flap didn't quite line up with the velcro on the body of the case. As a result, the hole in the case was a little below the plastic carrying grip on the bottom of the 2nd rung. It was still perfectly useable, but it just put some tension on the bag when reaching through the hole and has the potential to tear the bag opening over repeated use down the road (but it may just be the one I received). Also, as an aside, the gloves the ladder came with are visible in the photo and video. Now for the positives. I own an aluminum 22' Werner folding/collapsible A-frame multi-position ladder, but this Feete collapsible ladder is so much more practical and will be my go-to ladder for 90% of the things I need to do around the house. Every year I have had to lug my cumbersome 40+ pound A-frame out just to up put Christmas lights and by the end of it am worn out from moving the heavy beast all over the place. No longer! I will still need my 22' Werner for when the extra reach is necessary (like reaching all the way to 2nd story eves, but my A-frame is so bulky and heavy to carry, that it will only be used as a last resort from now on. I'm going straight to this Feete collapsible ladder from now on. This Feete ladder is very sturdy and well-made. I weigh almost 200 lbs and this Feete ladder feels really solid (could take quite a bit more weight) and stable even when I'm all the way to the top. As it is a collapsible ladder leaning against the wall, it does not feel QUITE as solid as my Werner when it is in A-frame mode with 4 points of ground contact. However, that is comparing apples to oranges and when my Werner A-frame is opened up fully to be a leaning ladder, the Feete collapsible feels about as solid and sturdy as the much heavier Werner. ***Note: when you are opening up this Feete ladder to it's FULLY extended length only, I've found it's easiest to grab the top rung and start pulling up one rung at a time until they're all locked... but if you stop before locking all the way, it will start a chain reaction collapsing all of the previously locked rungs. But the trick to extending the ladder only PART way is to start from the bottom! Place your foot on the lowest rung, and start extending the entire stack of rungs upward--starting from the next lowest. If you do it THIS way, each rung will lock in place (even if not fully extended) and NOT be released until you push the two levers at the bottom (which then causes a chain reaction unlocking all of the rungs). I found this out after reading the included instructions... but wanted to write it here to because maybe your initial reaction is like mine "it's a ladder, why would I need instructions?" (Yes... joke's on me). Anyway, see the attached video for how the ladder collapses. Despite the claims in the product description, I thought for sure that the instant I unlocked the two levers at the bottom, the entire nine rungs above it would come slamming down, but that is absolutely NOT the case. The poles are a snug enough fit together, that they really do collapse in a very nice and controlled manner (acting almost like air-filled shock absorbers) meaning that no fingers will get crushed in the process! The swing-out stabilizer feet lock into place with little spring-loaded button beads (see photo), and help provide left/right stabilization, but then fold inward for storage when a simple push of the buttons. Overall, I am really happy with this ladder. It collapses as easily and safely as the product description claims, and is very light weight and compact (therefore much easier to store and maneuver than a bulky and heavy aluminum A-frame), and yet at the same time it feels stable and sturdy. I highly recommend this ladder for any jobs where you can safely lean it up against something solid. Five stars! ... show more

  • Studier and most useful height ladder compared to others
Size: 12.5FT
The height of this ladder is perfect for many uses around the house and RV. At 12.5ft, some ladders will advertise as 17ft reach. It is light and compact enough to store anywhere. Some other ladders I've tried are 14.5ft and 15ft ladders of this type and those are not sturdy at all, as they flex forward and backwards and side to side alot, making them not as secure to really go higher than the last few steps anyways. There will always be some inherent flex with these types of ladders, however. Just use it no more that the angle the manufacturer recommends you to, and weight limit too. As a rule of thumb, the more steps you have, the more joint areas to flex and contributes to less sturdiness. So, this 12.5ft seems to be a happy medium of height, and sturdiness that I would trust to use comfortably. It uses air cushion to slow down the drop down of the steps when folding down to help so your fingers would not get crushed. This is and advance feature of these types of ladders that lesser expensive ones do not have! It has automatic drop down of the rungs above from where you would push the red levers below that particular rung. This mostly a pro, but becareful not to accidentally hit both red levers below each rung as it can start the process of lowering the ladder (which is extremely difficult to happen to hit the right and the left under rung red levers). These features are similar to the hf brand at a local store for much more cost! But this one also has the top rung stabilizers and hooks on top and the bottom wide stabilizers on the bottom that the local store one did not have! The rungs are also less that a foot in bewteen which makes it easy to step to the next one. This particular ladder has all the advanced features that most other ladders of this type does not have in the market all together in one ladder. The only thing I did not like was the top rung had a light dent on it likely from the shipping and not because of the manufacturer, but did not affect the structure. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Heavy and functional
Size: 12.5FT
First, this is not a cheap stepladder-like device. It is heavier than I anticipated and that's a good thing. I have no worries about extending it even to its maximum height and going up, including carrying a load as I climb. It extends easily and each rung locks solidly in place. I got this to do some tree work in our backyard. Not enough space to set up a stepladder, needed more height than a step stool, to many overhead branches to set up a regular ladder. I set this one's base on the ground, put my foot on the bottom rung and away I go (note this is not the suggested method of extending the ladder). Strongly recommended. ... show more
