I have wanted one of these for awhile now. It's is a good one and stable with the support bar. With out it it does have a bit of flex- I think they all do ( that I've seen) so I DO RECOMMEND using the support bar. NOW ON THAT NOTE - the manual instructions shiw an impossible scenario with bolt and nut - impossible because both sides of the connecting peices were made to hold a bolt/nuts ( holes are hexagonal) the nut was replaced with a wing nut which makes the positioning possible But when tightened sufficiently for safty will waller out the hole and make it a very temporary item you will enjoy . TO MANUFACTURER- Please include a washer with your wing nut for this fix to make sense! To buyers - please use a washer, most will figure this out iwoukd hope and hopefully before using and getting frustrated. I tried this with flat washers and it's acceptable but not great .. I suggest the washers I used which give your fingers room to tighten and loosen the wing nut easily for adjustments they arezraised in the center with locking ridges .. see my pictures they work really nicely! You can also see I went with attachment at 4th from the bottom - this is just where it felt most useful for me but usexim the Middle area for 4- 6 is probably most useful. At this point it be adjusted when swinging it out by loosening the wing nuts .. to move it up the rungs the bolt and nut with need to be removed for that portion, kinda a pain- so if you can decide the angle you feel most comfortable using this ladder -then find the rung where this,can reach the flat vertical surface without loosing contact of the top of the ladder to the wall this is where you want to put the brace then you can fold it in or out and make adjustment. Please headxthexwarnings to keep your hands put of strike zone when collapsing !!! That could really smart. The strap is great for keeping it compact while transporting and carrying. I very happy with this . I do hope the manual gets fixed to reflect the new parts and that 2 washer are added to the parts bag!! The prices is at the average for similar ladders and includes the stabilizing piece I feel it's a good value. The inclusion of the washers and updates to instructions even if just by insert would benefit the overall experience for buyers... it's feels like half the problem was solved on this after a mistake was noticed.. that said (and even though its easliy handled) the customer will have better impression -

After using the DiamondForge telescoping ladder to clean my gutters before a storm this past weekend, I have...thoughts. First, it's super compact. Like seriously, it folds down to practically nothing. The small size is great for shoving in a closet, carrying in an RV, or even your trunk. That's a huge plus if you're tight on space or need to take it on the go. It's made of aluminum, so it's light, which is great for lugging it around. But here's the thing: even though it says it can handle 330 pounds, I felt it twist and wobble a bit when I was on it, and I'm only around 225. So, it's more of a light-duty ladder. Don't push your luck with the weight limit. Getting it to the correct height? A little weird. You either go all the way up, or it's useless. Trying to extend just a few sections leaves you with these huge gaps between the steps. Not ideal. Putting the support arms on? Ugh. The instructions are just plain wrong. You'll need to figure it out yourself and grab some washers because they don't give you any. There are impressions in the plastic ON BOTH SIDES where the nut and bolt head should recess. The problem with that is obvious. If both sides are recessed, you can't spin them. If you can't spin them, you can't tighten them to assemble them. As a workaround, I put washers under the bolt head to keep it out of the recessed indent, which solved the problem. The steps are flat, which gets old fast if you're standing on them for a while, especially if the ladder's leaning. And the feet? They grip fine on flat ground but don't adjust, so uneven surfaces are a no-go. I had a very hard time keeping this steady in the grass as I checked those gutters. It's a decent ladder if you need something small and portable for light stuff. But if you need something heavy-duty or for uneven ground, look elsewhere. Otherwise, it's not a bad option for the price and if you're limited on space.
