Even though the tradition of dressing porch geese in fun outfits has been around since the 1980s, I'm just now joining in on its latest resurgence. I actually have both a 23-inch porch goose and a 23-inch porch duck, and I get outfits for both. This SUNGDOGIN Back to School Porch Goose Outfit fits both. The outfit looks just like the listing photos, with no surprises. The fabric is a really nice, thick polyester that feels water-resistant, and it arrived neatly folded without any wrinkles. The stitching is all well done, with no loose or tangled threads. The Peter Pan collar is neatly finished, and the wingtips are lightly stuffed. The bow is designed to look like a pencil and is secured with an elastic chin strap. The little glasses are good quality and stay in place by slipping the earpieces under the elastic on the bow. The Welcome Back sign is made of felt, with the ribbon sewn on. This outfit fits my standard 23-inch plastic goose perfectly, and it also fits my resin duck surprisingly well. I just have to tighten the bow for the duck. I'm glad they'll both be able to wear it! Most importantly, this outfit reminds me that even at 65 years old, it's never too late to embrace a whimsical hobby and have a little fun. ... show more

I have retired from teaching, but my wife and daughter are still teaching. Adding a back to school outfit for our porch goose is very appropriate. The Sungdogin brand back to school porch goose outfit is perfect to celebrate the return of a school year. This outfit fits all standard 23” porch goose statues. It is themed appropriately with the blue dress with apples, pencils, ABC’s and 123’s. The bow (tie) is a large pencil. A nice pair of glasses are included. To top it off is a lovely WELCOME BACK plaque. The outfit is easy to put on a remove and will stay on. It is made from polyester and should hold up well outside. For a very good price, you will receive a lovely back to school porch goose outfit ready for the beginning of next school year. ... show more
