In order to pursue excellent safety, We have increased the length of each stainless steel pipe section, with each section overlapping by 7 inches Therefore, our telescopic ladder will be stronger and safer. Before using the ladder it shall be checked that all locking mechanisms are working properly. If the mechanism is not working properly,do not use the ladder. Telescopic Ladder operation instructions: To open the telescopic ladder to intermediate length: 1.Put a foot on the bottom rung to stabilise the telescopic ladder. 2.Start with the second rung from the bottom,grasp the hand grips on each side of the rung and pull upwards to extend the step. To open the telescopic ladder to full length: Start with the top bar,grasp the hand grips on each side of the rung and pull up to extend the rung. When each rung is fully extended,you will hear a "click",confirming that the lock mechanisms are engaged for that level. To close the telescopic ladder: 1.Hold the telescopic ladder in an upright position. Place on foot on the bottom rung to stabilise the ladder. Starting at the lowest extended rung,use both hands to grasp the hand grips on either side of the rung,then,with your thumbs,disengage the locking mechanisms. I have gotten a ton of compliments on my latter, I had to get it because I bought an rv that had no latter However I bought it in October 2023 and used it a few time but I am having issues with the collapsing and closing and because it’s been more the. 30 days I can’t return it to Amazon for a new one so now it won’t close all the way and it also doesn’t always stay open and it shuts down when you stand on it. Have no idea who else to call to talk to them about it. It’s heavy and heavy duty. But it’s sad it’s already broken and it’s just me using it. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Great extendable ladder! Super easy to open to whatever height you want up to about 12', takes seconds to close with the push of a button. Closes slowly enough that it's not dangerous, and quickly enough that it's not annoying. I used it to put lights on my palm tree and roof line. Got a little nervous on the palm tree as it's not as stable against a round tree trunk as a flat roof edge. Move slowly and carefully if you don't have a stable platform. Otherwise a great affordable alternative to much heavier and more expensive traditional extendable ladders. I got this to do one thing: change the smoke detector battery on a 13' ceiling. I have one of those steel collapsible step ladders, but it's so heavy and my hands and wrists have gotten so weak and painful that carrying it is difficult. I've avoided changing that battery for a year and a half because I didn't want to drag the heavy thing upstairs, plus I have to move furniture to make room for it. Then I saw a link for this telescoping ladder. Extending it was easy, and it collapses exactly as they showed in the promotional video. It's light enough to be easy to carry around collapsed and easy to maneuver when extended. I gave it only 4 stars for sturdiness because it does flex a little, as extendable ladders usually do, and I have almost no sense of balance so I prefer a very rigid ladder. I had to go up and down very slowly. But for a steadier person it's probably fine. Bottom line: I got my battery replaced and I'm happy. If I only every use it for that one thing, it's worth it. ... show more

I was looking for a ladder I could keep in my 5th wheel. I have a ladder mounted on the camper but if I need to access a slide or something the camper ladder would not do what I needed. The ladder fits perfect in my side pocket. I mounted some velcro strips to hold it out of the way. I like the way it lets down, no smashed fingers. It's like all ladders in this class, they feel a little weak when fully extended. Stay within the rated weight limit and you should be OK. Serves my needs just fine. ... show more
