Works very well. Rubber feet are big, grippy and angled. The angle provides secure footing so prop does not slip out. This is a nice feature. This product telescopes and has an additional section the treads on for even longer length. It comes with an additional rubber foot and extra tightening thumb nut.

The Hood Rod Support is easy to adjust and use and we're happy with the quality. We're not using it for a car though. We were looking for an additional safety feature while accessing our hydraulic lift bed and we're confident this is going to help.

I have to add oil to my car a lot these days and the hood stopped staying up on its own so I needed something to hold it up. This lightweight, sturdy stick has a rubbery grippy material on each end so it doesn't slip when you are using it. Also adding to the stability are the slanted ends that keep the stick in full contact with each surface when in use. Beside all that, I thought the price was fair and what more can I say about it? If you need help keeping your hood up, this will do the trick.
