The Luzsco 50mm Kids Telescope is a great beginner telescope for kids interested in space. Setup is quick, the tripod is lightweight but stable, and the included eyepieces and finder scope make it easier to locate the moon and bright stars. Image quality is good for a starter scope—we could clearly see the moon’s craters. It’s portable and perfect for ages 6–12 as an introduction to astronomy. I’m really happy with this telescope for my child. It’s the perfect size for kids and beginners, and it was very easy to assemble right out of the box. It comes with multiple lenses and accessories, which makes it fun to try different magnifications. The visibility is surprisingly good for the price we were able to see the moon clearly and even some bright stars. My kid was so excited and spent a long time exploring the night sky. Not for younger kids. It takes a HOT MIN to get focused and set up correctly, and a little unstable in my opinion for being advertised as a kids telescope. My son’s 6 and it could use some more stabilizing.

Such a fun little telescope, especially for kids. It was easy to put together, feels sturdy, and the tripod keeps it stable while viewing. I would give a 0 star but can't. Thus thing is horrible. Can't see anything out of it. My autistic son was so excited for this but no matter what we did it wouldn't work.

Overall, it is a gift that kids love and easy for parents to set up. Especially true for something at this price range. The product comes well-packed. All the lenses are double-wrapped and included in separate storage containers. The telescope is easy to be assembled, dissembled and reassembled. It is lightweight and easy to carry around to anywhere for observation. Lenses are very clear (This is my most concern for a telescope at this price). Focus adjustment is very easy, justly simply turning the knot. The set also comes with three lenses for different magnifications. We have tested on observing objects from different distances, and they all came back with clear details and enough light penetration to observe.

At least you can see the moon but if you want to see stars or other planets, this doesn't work for that. Got it for my 7 year old and it's an okay first telescope. Just wish it did more but at least she's satisfied.
