Strong hose. Protected ends where hoses usually fail. Compact, gets back into a nice coil, if you give the hose a 1/4 turn each time you coil a loop. A VERY handsome color - your neighbors will be asking where you got it. Could be in the Hort Society!!

    • The only hose that doesn't break
So I bought one of these 75 footers for my backyard about four years ago and it still works after sitting in 120 degree heat, being pulled on and stepped on and twisted like a pretzel. For my front yard I have now been through three different manufacturers which all break eventually where the hose plugs into the faucet. I don't like advocating a particular company but I have to say these things are made much better then all the others ones I've tried. ... show more

    • Seven years later..
Bought this hose in 2017 and am still using it (2024). Hands down the longest lasting garden hose I’ve ever owned. It does tend to kink in a couple of places when pulling it out of the hose hanger but due to its longevity and overall build quality, not really huge deal.

    • Good hose for good price
I've bought two of these hoses and so far, they have worked very well. I've had one about 6 months and the other about 1 month. They don't seem to kink. This is not a cheap, lightweight hose. Has good material, a little on the heavier side as it is a commercial grade hose. The only wildcard I can't speak to is long term durability. I live in Phoenix and the sun here very intense.     • Excellent below ground, adequate above
I use these as plumbing underground in my barnyard. I bury them between faucets. So far they are great and trouble free. Somehow I keep forgetting where they are, and inadvertently dig them up with tractor implements. They don’t hold up well under those circumstances! All my own fault. I recommend them underground where they are seldom disturbed. However sunlight and constantly relocating them as above ground hoses does cause deterioration in short order. Sunlight compromises and cracks the exterior quickly, and movement exacerbates the cracking of the outer layer. For the price, they seem to be the best I can find. Good hardware on them.     • Neverkink Always Kinks
Neverkink garden hose should be called, "AlwaysKinks". I bought this professional 4000 series hose in 5/8" x 75-foot hoping it would live up to its name. In the past, I've bought professional quality garden hose at the membership clubs and they've been fairly good over the years but only moderately kink resistant. When moving something like a lawn sprinkler or a pressure washer from one location to another, many garden hoses will kink and cut off the water flow, especially if pulling on it while coiled or lapped over itself. The NeverKink product is no better than any cheap hose. It kinks if there is the slightest twist or overlap in it as you're stetching it out. So I can not recommend this hose to people who are hoping to minimize kinking. I gave it 2 stars because it's a pretty high quality garden hose with excellent connectors at each end, but kinks up and cuts off the water flow just as much, maybe more so than any other garden hose I've owned. UPDATE: I contacted the manufacturer's customer service for this product and although they were professional and courteous over the phone, I got the impression I was talking to someone who could not or would not speak candidly about the product because of fear of possibly losing their job. If you read through the reviews here on Amazon, you find that the majority of users of this garden hose are saying it does indeed kink just as easy as any other garden hose. When I brought this to the attention of the customer service rep, they just kept saying that the product is designed and guaranteed not to kink, and that the red stripe and reinforced inner webbing is part of the design to prevent kinking. But there is no doubt that the hose kinks easily and the red stripe and webbing do very little to prevent it. The manufacturer's denial of this and unwillingness to recall the product or at least change their market and labeling of it demonstrates a shady operation. I seriously feel the company is falsely advertising the product even though they stand behind the product with a guarantee. I believe they are hoping that the majority of users will not call their bluff or demand a refund (I won't simply because of the hassle they make you go through cutting off both ends and sending photos; the hose is not broken, it just kinks). But because of the manufacturer's denial and continuation to insist that their garden hose will not kink, I have therefore downgraded my review to one star. ... show more

    • Sturdy with no leaking but KINKS, KINKS, KINKS!!!
I have 3 of these in different lengths. While they ALL have held up nicely as far as no leaking, no holes or breakage , the kinks are almost impossible to iron out, especially with this 75 foot hose! There are better hoses on Amazon that do not kink and are light weight. And I do use a hose reel to wind my hoses up onto but they DO kink, regardless! ... show more
