I bought this hose years ago and it lasted a long time. It would have lasted longer if I had brought it in during the winter. It finally sprung a leak and rather than repair it, I went with another. Since it is made so well, it was impossible to roll up onto my hose holder (after just receiving it) but an hour with it laying in the sun, it straightened out nicely. Item arrived earlier than expected. This replaces my old hose that is a never kink hose. This is well made & is a lot than most other hoses.

The thing does not uncoil to lay flat which causes kinking. To return it, per the seller, it must be packaged as delivered. Ever try to roll up a 130' hose to be like 'as delivered'. Unless you have some kind of gizmo, it is absolutely impossible. Gave the stinkin' hose to someone who didn't care that they can trip over it. Buy something else. ... show more

    • Stinky smell
I have had this hose for over a year now. I use it on a weekly basis. I often leave it pressurized for a week. It still looks brand new and it functions like it should. The only issue I have with this hose is the SMELL! The water coming out of this hose smells horrible. I can switch hoses or faucets and no other hose has this smell, but this one has it on any faucet. The smell dissipates after several minutes and seems to be much worse if the sun is sitting in the hot sun. I would think after a year the smell would be gone, but it isn't.
