Aloha, everyone. This is a very nice mixer, I wanted to use it quiet a bit, before reviewing it. I really have used it a lot. Now, this Techlove stand mixer comes packaged really well with everything you need to get started. Comes with a wire whip, dough hook, and blending paddle, splatter shield, big stainless steel bowl. I started right away using it to make buttermilk waffles. The instructions were pretty clear, but you can not use this mixer for more than 30 minutes at a time, seems the motor gets hot. Then you have to let it cool down some. If your cooking and baking that cool down phase could make your meal preparation take much longer. I didn't care for that, also, the beater doesn't reach the bottom or the sides completely. So, there's stopping it some, to scrape the sides and bottom, then mix with a spatula by hand. For those reasons I only gave it 4 stars. Not a deal breaker, I did manage to kind of get used to it. I enjoy baking and cooking pretty much everything, but arthritis has made it hard to do. So this mixer helps so much in making a delicious meal and desserts. I just don't like, that I get in my cooking/baking groove, and have to stop for the mixer to cool down. I had a KitchenAid mixer that didn't make the move here to Hawaii. This is just different for me, yes, I know it's not a KitchenAid. I have used this Techlove Mixer to make sourdough bread, tortilla, and pizza doughs, and pancakes and doughnuts, cakes and cookies. I've whipped mashed potatoes, those were good. But, whipping cream or buttercream frosting, took a while. They still came out good, just some of that scraping of the bowl. It's an orbital mixer, and it's very well made and designed, they did use good materials. Since I've been using it I don't feel it's going to break soon or anything, I do feel it'll be a long lasting mixer for me. I've used it a lot, put it through the paces, using many different recipes. I received the black and silver colored model, it goes with my kitchen very well. It's a pretty mixer, I know I'll be using it lots to cook the upcoming holiday meals and desserts. So, here's looking forward to doing that. Sharing a very nice meal with my family and friends, nothing better for me, I think. Ok, Well my test pineapple upside down cake is just out of the oven. It's only a test cake to see what it would look and taste like, and yes, I'm going to have to eat this one all by myself. It's still really hot, so I'll have to wait for it to cool. Okay so I'm going to compare this to my 900watt mixer that I've had forever. No, it doesn't compare. It also doesn't come with the $600.00 (at time of purchase 17 yrs ago) price tag. Its not designed to compete with something at that level. With that said, this is a decent little mixer. At 300 watts you can easily mix cookie or bread dough, or whip some frosting. Its attractive, comes with a few different attachments, and is variable speed. Plenty of umph for the normal kitchen. After using it a few times I think its a great option that lands somewhere in between a cheap plastic stand mixer and something like a kitchenaid. Kind of a middle ground if you don't need the high end performance but want something with a little power. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This stand mixer has a ton of positives. The first is that it's less expensive than a KitchenAid but it still works terrifically. I love how many speed options it has (it has 12) and it does a fantastic job of pulling from the sides to get everything mixed well. The timer function on it is also helpful when multi-tasking in the kitchen. I also love that it's not too heavy, allowing me to be able to store it in my lower cabinet instead of on my counter. The only downside is that the top doesn't lift all the way to clear the whole bowl. If you're just an occasional baker liker me then this is no big deal. It might cause problems if you do a lot of different baking. I had really been wanting to have a stand mixer but don't bake enough to justify paying the high price of a KitchenAid mixer, so this was a great alternative. ... show more

Beautiful sleek mixer. It is very easy to use and I love that it comes with the three most commonly used attachments. It’s really nice to have a light built in so that it is easy to keep an eye on what’s happening in your mixing owl. I gave this product 4 stars because although the mixer itself seems fantastic quality, the mixing bowl and attachments are thinner stainless steel than I expected. And unfortunately the company doesn’t seem to sell other attachment offerings on Amazon. ... show more

I really wanted to like this mixer. It is lightweight and has suction cups on the bottom of the stand so it doesn't slide around when mixing. But.... The paddle, when mixing, doesn't go all the way to the side or bottom of the bowl, so you have to stop it and not only scrape the sides, but scrape the bottom of the bowl to get a true mix of the ingredients. While scraping the sides is necessary with any mixer, the bowl is deep(which is a great thing), but not if you have a bowl full of ingredients and you have to remove the bowl from the stabd to scrape what the beater missed from the bottom of the bowl. The motor isn't strong enough to whip buttercream icing efficiently. When putting on the attachment or securing the bowl to stand, they attach counterclockwise. When removing, they detach to the right. As I said, I really wanted to like this mixer, but it falls really short of my expectations for a good stand mixer. ... show more

This mixer is easy to use and easy to clean. It is great for making bread and for baking on a medium and semi large scale. It's easy to change out the attachments. It comes with the 3 most commonly used attachments. The mixing bowl is large and makes for very easy pouring. It's easy to change between functions as well. The motor is loud and tends to get really hot during extended use. You need to stop and give it time to cool down if you are baking in large batches. ... show more
