Shipping time and everything included: This mixer arrived in 5 days. It came with two dough mixer attachments and two whisk attachments and one stainless steel bowl. Looks: The color of the mixer which is why I bought it is beautiful. The chromish strip at the top and through makes it look good but also at the same time makes it looks like horrible quality. Attachments removal: The mixer has a big eject button at the top to remove the attachments with ease. Bend the top back: There is a button on the right of the device which you hold down to bend the top up as shown in the second stock pic. The speeds presets: There are 6 speeds on the top right where it seems most of the time that 4 itself is high enough. I have not once gotten into a situation where the attachments had stopped and/or jammed. They were always spinning when set to, no matter how sticky the substance. Bottom lever: There is also a lever at the bottom front of the mixer where you pull left and right moving the bottom enough to find the perfect rotation of the bowl. If the bowl for some reason does not spin you just move the lever around and it should work. It also helps when there is something that was not mixed at one side of the bowl. To move the lever you hold it down and slide to as far as you want to move the bowl. Then you stop pushing it down and slightly move it left and right until it locks into place. It's very easy and no explanation was required to be honest. Suction cups and wire length: The length of the wire is about three feet long. There are five suction cups at the bottom which as soon as put down, allow the mixer to be in place making it hard to accidentally knock down. This has been useful in many occasions. The bowl placement: When placing the bowl onto the mixer you simple put it on the black surface and simply spin the bowl to the left while holding the black surface in place. Though one problem I have noticed with this is how easily it removes. I feel that it might spin off when it is set on a high preset speed but I have not once actually experienced it. I have used it on high settings and stopped it to see if the bowl had come loose but it stayed rotated far to the left to be considered locked. It seems safe and doesn't seem like it will spin off but it looks, just by the eyes, like it is loose which just turns out to be how it looks. It's not actually loose. My thoughts: Personally I felt it is worth it for the price this mixer is at right now. The speed settings make it well worth it. The slider seems to work fine and the best part is that it isn't some cheap mixer that gets stuck when mixing some hard substance. Definitely worth it for its price. ... show more

I originally learned of this product while at a thrift store. I found one that was used and crusty, but still functional, for $20, but found out that I could buy it "used - like new" on amazon for only $8 more. After receiving it, I tried it out by making some no-bake cheesecake filling. It struggled for a moment with the cream cheese, but worked perfectly fine after I pushed the cream cheese down into the bowl again and off of the beaters. I did end up finding some lumps of cream cheese in the final cheesecake filling, but that may have been due to user error. However, do keep in mind that the beaters do not reach the bottom of the bowl, meaning you may have to be more involved to ensure everything is thoroughly mixed. It did manage to make whipped cream pretty easily on the highest setting, and did not take too long to reach stiff peaks. It is relatively easy to clean, though I do think some amount of debris may be stuck in the little plastic bits on the bottom part of the beaters. I am not sure how to clean that part, but I am not too concerned about it. For such a small and inexpensive stand mixer, it is extremely powerful and moves very fast. Fair warning, it is LOUD even on the lowest setting, which is already very fast. I do wish that there was a slower setting, but it gets the job done just fine regardless. You should also keep in mind that the bowl does not spin on its own with thin mixtures, so you will have to manually spin it until your mixture thickens. I had no issues with it shaking due to the suction cups on the bottom of the machine, which was nice. While being very stable, it was still easy for me to manually detach it, and lightweight and small enough that I had no trouble putting it up into the pantry for storage. If I could, I would absolutely consider getting the full matching set of appliances that Dash offers, if only they all came in pink! ... show more

Okay, so I DID end up returning this Mixer, but hear me out! It wasn't because it was a bad product, it was just a little too small for the HUGE batches of cookies I like to make for, like, the whole neighborhood. That said, this mixer is seriously ADORABLE and feels super well-made for the price. Here's what I LOVED about it: Compact & Cute: Seriously, it's tiny! Perfect if you have limited counter space. The bright color (I got the aqua) was a total bonus. Powerful Enough: It handled some pretty thick cookie dough (before I realized I needed a bigger bowl!) without struggling. All 6 speeds seemed to work well. Lightweight: Easy to move around, which is a big plus for me. Easy to Clean: The bowl and attachments are all dishwasher safe, which is a HUGE time-saver. The 3 Quart Bowl is Sturdy: I was genuinely surprised at how robust it felt, especially considering the price point. Stainless steel is always a win! Tilt-Head Design: Made it easy to add ingredients and scrape the bowl. Great Value: Honestly, for the price, you can't beat this little mixer. Ultimately, I needed something bigger, but if you're a casual baker making smaller batches of cookies, cakes, or frosting, this DASH mixer is an absolute winner. Works well for the price. I wanted a KitchenAid and had to settle for this but I’m not too disappointed. It comes with regular beaters and dough hooks, 6 settings (I think) and a large bowl. The mechanisms were a little confusing at first but I figured them out easily. The bowl has a feature that allows you to have the option to settle your beaters smack in the middle of the bowl or scrape the side which will cause the bowl to rotate by itself. It’s good for baking where you have to “add while mixing”. There’s also a mechanism in place that allows you to lock the bowl so it won’t wobble out while mixing. The bowl has some screws on the bottom I think so I haven’t washed it in my dishwasher and have only washed it (along with everything else) by hand. It’s a little loud but when you have it going for longer than 40 seconds it becomes easily to tune out. I’ll probably still switch to a KitchenAid and keep this one as a backup to make frosting at the same time or buttermilk/whip cream but it’s a good mixer to start out with if you desperately need on. *EDIT* Have had this Mixer since May of 2019 and it is now Feb 2020. Can say I still use it often and works great! It’s still a little loud but I don’t mind it, I used the dough hooks to make bread & regular beaters for pumpkin bread, homemade buttermilk, brownies etc. works great for all! I’ve used it probably 50 times between then and now and it works well still. Still haven’t gotten my KitchenAid but will make the switch eventually. I still wouldn’t throw this one out though; it’s really not that bad and would recommend to anyone that just needs a mixer currently (: happy baking!! ... show more

Very small, the first level speed is full throttle on a normal mixer, higher speed literally starts throwing stuff you’re mixing out of the bowl. I wouldn’t recommend this. Go to the store and pick one out, this is literally a toy mixer! Put a large size ketchup bottle next to it for reference.
