I needed a functional but inexpensive cabinet to secure my router, camera system DVR, network switch, and UPS. This cabinet worked perfectly. It includes locks for the sides and front, unlike other cabinets that cost more. A fan is included, which many did not have. It was easy to assemble, I didn't see any imperfections or bent parts, and the fit and finish were very nice. As you can see from the pictures, my wall studs were not on 16" centers so I had to improvise and drill new holes in the cabinet. it worked fine and I was able to fit a power outlet and network box inside the cabinet. Due to other reviews that mention a weak bottom, I installed an inexpensive tray/shelf that mounts to the cabinet rails, that worked great to support the weight of the UPS and other gear. I couldn't resist using an LED kit from another project to light the cabinet. If I could improve the cabinet, I would include cutouts on the rear of the cabinet for cabling and the outlets. I had to drill holes for the electrical and network cabling. The fan is a bit on the noisy side but its in a laundry room so we don't notice it unless your are in the room. One fan is included but there is a cutout for a 2nd fan. I'm very pleased how this project turned out and believe it will also increase the value of the home.

This Tecmojo 6U rack is a great budget option and provides some nice aesthetics to boot! The surfaces have a nice finish, and the glass door is a nice touch. I didn't need to lock it, but the front door and both sides lock for security/access restriction if desired. The rack could be 'just a bit' deeper as you'll also read in other reviews, (frustratingly close- LOL ) however I found a way to add some depth without negatively affecting the rack in any way. Please see photos for BEFORE depth, and AFTER depth. I basically drilled & tapped new holes in the vertical rack rails, allowing them to move forward just a bit. That provided an extra .5 inch depth (12mm+) which was just enough to get a longer piece of kit fitted. Even modified, the MAX useable depth for this rack is approx 14.75in (375mm) MAXIMUM from front rail to the very back wall. All rack items do fit the rails nicely, and overall the rack is quite sturdy. I even have a mini-ITX PC build sitting on top of it! I did not use the included cage nuts and screws, as they're smaller than standard M6. It is what it is, I guess. You should always have extra hardware anyway- and many shelves, blanks, and equipment come with their own hardware for mounting. The added feature of both square holes for cage nuts, AND tapped holes is a nice touch giving you both options, at least. Airflow is decent with many perforated surfaces, and the included fan is actually fairly quiet, moving a lot of air. The stock fan is more quiet than a fancy AC Infinity I tried to replace it with! However, I did end up swapping the fan for a PWM unit I could control, and have near-silent operation. This rack arrived slightly damaged, but for a garage unit, I don't really mind much. Checking the photos, you can see the dented area, and the entire top droops compared to a straight edge. Nobody, including me, can actually see that portion while in use since I have this mounted in an elevated position. The rack itself, along with the door, was true and square- and that's the important part... UNTIL I SCREWED IT TO THE WALL! Yep, as soon as it was mounted, it warped and the front & door was no longer square.. This is an issue with the wall not being perfectly square. Another reviewer noted theirs was crooked as well. To fix this, once mounted, pull the door off, and push upwards on the hinge side opposite the side the door is 'drooping' on, while holding the other side in position. Then, check the front with a level. It MAY NOT BE LEVEL ANYMORE! Loosen the rack, level again, and test the door in place. I had to do this process twice, until the door fit perfectly, and the front of the rack was level. Then it was all good. That's just an issue with the surface you're mounting this to, and not the rack itself. I suppose if the rack were more rigid, this may be less of an issue, but it's really not critical as it can be remedied. I dropped one star for being slightly damaged on arrival, with the shipping box not being damaged at all- so there's no way to tell what happened. Items to note: 1. MAXIMUM useable depth without modification is 14.25" or about 360mm. Front rail to the very back. 2. The airflow (and noise) will be better if you completely cut out the 'die cut' areas where the fan sits. 3. If your rack seems crooked when you mount it, it's because YOUR WALL is not perfect! (fix is above) Overall, it's a great buy, and I would purchase again- even in the 9U variant.

Perfect for what I wanted to use it for. I integrated my UniFi dream machine, PoE switch and the router as well as a NAS setup. Along with a power supply I had. Easy to assemble. Fitment templates were easy to use. Mounting was challenging as it was so heavy with everything connected that I needed another person to help me mount high up in the ceiling. ChatGPT helped with the right hardware and I had to do some creative ways to put it on a non std stud. But if you guys have std studs it’s easy peasy. Looks really nice.

When I moved into my house I hastily threw together a patch panel and shelf just to get up and running. The rest of the gear just grew and sat on the top shelf for years. I figured enough was enough, so I bought this after carefully planning and measuring everything. Now I have everything except my security cameras drops(I still have to repull and terminate them) in the box and this enclosure really cleaned it up. I wouldn't say it was hard to install, but it took a lot of prep work to get everything planned out and terminated properly. If you have issues with studs not lining up based on where your electric and drop locations are, just use drywall anchors for the 4 holes. From there, follow up with 1 or 2 lag bolts into a stud. Even 1 lag bolt into a stud should be enough to hold since the cabinet is only rated to hold about 100lbs. My only complaint is the fan vibrates the cabinet and the wall it's on. Most of the noise heard is vibration and not the fan itself. I'm going to install a rubber or silicone gasket and see if that does the trick. EDIT 1/28/26 It hasn't been very long since I bought this, and the fan bearings have already failed. There's a bit of grinding sound now. I ordered a replacement 120mm AC plug fan with a speed controller. Should clear the issue up and allow for control over the RPMs. Ultimately for a bit over $100 you can't really beat this. It's not perfect, but it does the trick.

Works as it should. Love that all the panels lock or can be taken off. Comes with a built in fan if needed too cool down your IT equipment. We are just running 2 switch’s and is working great. It comes with 2 different styles of mounting bars which is a plus. Good clean look too. Will keep them in mind for future projects.
