The unit was easy to set up and install by carefully following the enclosed instructions. There are many sounds to choose from but it is easy to run through them to select your own. This was a super easy install. Plug the bell ( ringer ) into a ac outlet in your house. And then stick the push button unit on the side of you house. Plenty of ring tones to select from. And no batteries to install.
