I purchased this freezer because I bought half a cow and needed more space to store it. This freezer could easily store a full cow and maybe more. You can also set your own temperature which I keep at 0 Fahrenheit. The stainless steel looks great too.

Love the look. Wish I could get another but with the door opening the opposite direction. Love how easily frozen items stack on the shelves - I can finally see what I have! I like that it alerts if the temperature goes above a fixed temp during a power outage etc. so you'd know if anything goes bad. Door is a snug closure. Maintains a very cold temperature. Literature says $69/year in electricity so I think that's great! What sold me on it was the Amazon delivery option. Fast delivery, you pick the day and time and, poof! it arrives! I read the other reviews, someone had a problem with one and Amazon delivered another and picked up the first one. Better than any appliance store in my area! Yes, I would buy again!! ... show more

Delivery folks rolled the big box into the garage - but you are on your own to unbox. You must wait 30 minutes after unboxing to let it settle quietly before plugging it in (a tip from my electrician, but also buried in the instruction book) so take care not to damage it with immediate electricity. Once plugged in, the screen froze and the door-open alarm (not too loud) sounded. After contacting amazon to find out how to cancel the door alarm, they offered an email for the China seller, but I later found that easily adjusting one of the leveling legs (just turning by hand) seemed to fix the issue. Have to screw in the handle with provided tools. It comes with a left side opening (not stated in the description). There is no website for the seller so we need to ask for the warranty which is not stated in the minimal instruction booklet or on amazon Once plugged in, it began to cool immediately as a refrigerator. I haven't tried the freezer version yet but I love it so far! I can't wait to try the freezer and the rapid freeze options. I'll update if other issues found but so far (just hours in now) but I am in love with the look, the ease and the the options. ... show more
