This is a great little freezer. I have used it almost constantly since purchase and it works perfectly. It is not very noisy, easy to defrost and clean. Update: I have owned it now for nearly two years and it is still working perfectly. It freezes ice cubes quickly and keeps everything I put in perfectly frozen. I only have defrosted it twice in that time and as soon as the defrosting is finished -- not long -- it purrs right back on, I keep it on our second floor along with a small fridge and microwave and together they save me many trips up and down the stairs. It's a "Frezzer" but the seller continued to tell me it was a refrigerator! Everyone that had bought one told me it was a Frezzer but I delayed buying because of what the seller told me. He did apologize and said sorry I only speak Spanish but would never tell me it was a freezer. He apparently did not know.     • Happy with this mini freezer

A great mini freezer with only a couple downsides. One is that it has no light so it's hard to see inside of it in a dark room. Another is that it is manual defrost. Neither of these issues is a big deal for me- just something to be noted. It makes a high pitched squealing and and buzzing noise when first plugged in but this stopped after about an hour. Since then it just makes the usually humming noises on and off. I sleep with it next to my bed and it is not loud enough to keep me awake. It is so lightweight that it was dragging across the floor every time I opened it so I put some heavy items on top of it to weigh it down. Don't expect the inside to be as big as it may look from the photo- it's big enough to fit 3 whole chickens at most. It would be nice for someone living in a college dorm for storing frozen burritos and things like that. It seems kinda cheaply made so I hope it lasts. I will update if I have any problems with it. UPDATE 1.5 YEARS AFTER PURCHASE: This freezer is still running great. I keep it on the coldest setting and it still freezes things as well as when it was new. My only complaint is that I believe it has gotten louder and it makes a humming/sort of high pitched noise more often than when it was new. I have only had to manually defrost it 2 times in the 1.5 years I've had it with daily opening and closing of the door. ... show more

I bought this and it worked great for a week. I put some frozen food in there and hadn’t opened it for maybe 3 days…and when I did everything was ruined. There was no alarm telling you it wasn’t working. It makes a clicking sounds but the compressor isn’t running. Tried different outlets and noticed it was tripping all the plugs. Definitely has some electrical issues. Now I have to load it up and bring it to UPS while I am 38 weeks pregnant as pick up wasn’t even an option. I am less than impressed! ... show more

    • Difficult to make use of the space, but it keeps things frozen and it's quiet

It's not easy to make use of what little space is in there. It's a slippery surface in the first place, and there should be some small ledges or something to hold the products in place a little, but there's nothing of the sort. The top shelf is standard metal bars, but, again, you can only fit what you can stack up on them. There's nothing to help keep the items from sliding around on top of each other. Great compact freezer for Camper... I like Igloo products and this is no exception. I use this for our annual Family camp out and Crappiethon on Lake Sam Rayburn. It will hold 200 crappie filets, but little else besides. Very efficient and not noisy at all. Seems rugged enough to last several years. Hope I get to fill it up again next year! ... show more

August 2020: I love it because I cringe at the thought of digging down into a subzero freezer in search of food. It helps me organize and have easy quick access to the things I need! I like the size of the freezer but what I don’t like is that ice builds up like it’s leaking air or something but is sealed all the way around.
