  • First Successful Cloning
Size: .25 OZ
I've always wanted to try and see if I could successfully clone some of my plants and this year I managed to do just that with the thanks to this rooting gel! I just transplanted the 2 clones from solo cups to a large pot and the roots were so healthy and long.

  • You found the best!! A++ quality product!
Size: 4 OZ
This root tech stuff is absolutely by far the best cloning gel I've used. Whoops clonex butt to the point that I (right now) have a full bottle of clonex and it's basically a paperweight, never will be used. I have cloned probably over 100 (indica sativa and crosses) strains with root tech, likely a few thousand clones...with almost 100% success rate. Yes, that's the truth. When I ran out recently, and switched to clonex for a short while because I had some, my success rate dropped significantly. Needless to say I'm with root tech for good. I can't say enough good about these guys. My 100% success rate is in reference to the root tech brand only, the success rate with other brands was noticeably different/lower. My successful method: I keep it simple. I take cuts from the mother, and with a clean (disinfected) razor blade I scrape the skin only from the bottom 1/2 inch of the stem (be delicate). Then dip in cloning gel, and into pre-moistened rapid rooter plugs (or root riot). Stick em in the clone tray, on top of heat pad, and feed pH balanced 6.0 water. Place under florescent lamp. That's it. I don't go crazy with extra steps or get over complicated. I have almost 100% success, and the few that don't survive are more likely due to neglect than anything. I would absolutely recommend this stuff hands down over the several other brands I've tried. It's very easy to use, and eliminates headaches, guesswork wondering why you're only getting 50% success, etc. If anybody has something bad to say about this stuff, they are very likely doing something very wrong. If you have a decent idea of how to clone, this should make your life easier and is worth the extra few bucks, trust me! Just think about it...would you rather save a few bucks, and get something with 50-75% success, essentially leaving you to guess and have to grow extras to be sure you fill your space, or would you rather have a product that works as intended? I don't work for these guys in any way, I'm just a big fan and feel that a fantastic product with fantastic results really does deserve being mentioned in today's overcrowded marketplace. Hope this info has been helpful and welcome to someone trying to make a tough choice. Hope it also saves some from the trial and error of testing different brands over a course of years! This review is referring to CANNABIS cultivation cloning ONLY. I can NOT comment on how effective this product is for any other type of plant, fruit, vegetable, etc. If you're looking to clone cannabis of any variety, you've stumbled onto the very best stuff (my honest, humble opinion) to get the job done! You'll buy it again. Good luck out there, fellow greenthumbs!! ... show more

  • The roots, the roots, the roots are on fire!
Size: .25 OZ
Works as advertised. My propagated plants weren’t doing anything after being in water a couple of weeks. I added the gel to the cut part of the stem and the whole stem and it started to grow roots two days. One was a fiddle leaf fig, which can be a difficult plant to propagate.

  • The best option for rerooting recently shipped plants.
Size: 4 OZ
This has turned out to be my favorite rooting gel hormone I have yet used. Gel isn't always the best option for all situations but when you need a gel this is the one I recommend now. This isn't just a rooting hormone it also has a B vitamin in it. The added B vitamin is exactly why I like to use this to reroot plants that have been shipped bare root. It helps them recover and start growing new roots much faster than if left to their own devices. I buy a lot of plants online so I've racked up a lot of experience using this brand rooting gel and it performs the best out of the many ones I've tried. When receiving a newly shipped bare root plant the first thing I do is waste the roots gently with some water. Then dry them off slightly so they're not soaking wet. Then I use a popsicle stick to apply a thing layer of the gel over all the plants roots. Then I place the plant in the pot with only damp soil. I don't water it yet, you don't want to wash away the gel you just put on the roots. I leave the plant like that for about two days to let the gel absorb into the roots. Then I can do the first watering. I've used this on all kinds of plants from your common nursery succulents to expensive Cyphostemmas' worth thousands of dollars. If I could buy it by the barrel I would. ... show more
