Very rich soil. Very good soil. I mix with sand and wood chips and rock as most of the plants I have are desert types. It is not for indoor use - too rich and dense. But outdoors it is great and not expensive.

So when Amazon offered top soil delivered to the doorstep with Prime? It felt like a small, earthy miracle. The bag arrived spotless—no tears, no leaks, no weird smells. The soil went straight into containers, and over the next few weeks, the plants seemed content. No complaints, no drama. Mission accomplished. But the plot thickened. Just a few weeks later, while casually scrolling the Lowe’s website, the gardener stumbled upon a massive top soil sale—$2 for a 40 lb bag, plus same-day delivery. And since enough bags were ordered, delivery was free. Cue the internal facepalm. The Amazon soil? Still doing its job.
