This is my first year gardening. After thorough research, many sources recommended worm castings to increase the growth of bacteria, fungi & other beneficial microbes in the soil for plants. I purchased this product because of the many good reviews. I like to make worm tea using ~ 5 gallons of dechlorinated hose water or rainwater (most municipal water is treated with chlorine/chloramine to kill bacteria/mold - which would defeat the purpose of the beneficial microbes in worm castings. If using tap water, let it sit outside for 24 hours to let the chlorine/chloramine evaporate before making the tea. Or boil the water for 20mins to speed up the process but let it cool first) and 1/4 cup of the castings. Let the tea steep for at most 24 hours, mixing it throughout the day to aerate. Water with the tea until you see the liquid pooling on the top of the soil or use your own judgement. Idk. I prefer making worm tea because it is absorbed more rapidly. So far I’ve used the worm tea twice on a weekly basis and I’m not sure if there’s a direct correlation yet, but every time I’ve used the tea there was IMMEDIATE results. My carrots which are notorious for being difficult to germinate, went from having two/three weak looking sprouts to maybe a dozen+ healthy, green sprouts. My eggplants that were taking a while to sprout, sprouted immediately the next day. The same goes for the arugula. The potato greens FLOURISHED overnight. I can go on and on about the immediate growth I’ve witnessed on all my plants after using worm tea but you get the point. Like I said, I’ve only used the worm tea twice so far and on a weekly basis so I can’t vouch for its complete efficacy just yet but I am SOLD! This stuff does wonders. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Been using for 7 days started late with my cannabis plant so I poured 4 (1/4 cups) on top of 7 gallon soil and watered. Only one plant, during my last measuring the height of plant grew by over 1" in one day. That was yesterday. It's going to be fun seeing if the growth is sustained until harvest. I don't expect to see continued fast growth, this event seems very unusual. I'll add more same amount in 4 weeks before flowering. I was afraid maybe I over dosed the 7 gallon growing container thinking maybe the plant will burn. No burning except I now have to raise my 480 watt LED light a few inches to insure leaves don't burn on the tips. I recommend this product to other cannabis growers. No bugs at all due to correct watering methods. I am disabled and limited physically and still I can grow. Buy this stuff, but not all of it so I can reorder in the future. I also used Roots dry nutrients that were 4 years old and still the plant has shown full growth. Roots dry nutrients if over used seems to not burn the plant either. Rising Foundation,Uprising Foundation and eventually Uprising Bloom mixed into 1 gallon RO water. Amazon carries the Roots dry nutrient line of supplements. It's expensive but so worth it. I am not a sales person just an old man growing some medicine. I grow organically. Best of luck to you growers.
