Like others have reported here there was some oily fingerprints all over the cover. Don't know if that was intentional or not. But it cleaned up nicely with a wet rag. Now to the book, it is an easy read. Melania is an amazing woman who loves her country and her family. She is so intelligent, graceful and kind. She is a shining example of the American dream. It always disgusted me the way the leftist mainstream media treated her. She should have been on the cover of every magazine during her tenure as first lady, but of course was not. This is a book everyone would enjoy but it is not long enough. Even if you suffer from TDS, if you give this book a chance you might learn something about the first lady and her life. 5 stars ... show more

    • Melania, beautiful and smart
A wonderful book. I know it is about Melania, but it showed a an important view of her husband. Unfortunately, many see a side of D. Trump as a bit outspoken and sometimes he comes off cruel, like making fun of Biden. (Who has a terrible disease). People don’t see his compassionate, caring side. They can’t get past how outspoken he is. Me, I listen to all of his rallies, but as he tends to ramble about himself instead of sticking to the important facts that people need to hear, I just stop listening. Unlike many people, I don’t base my decision on his speeches or his personality, I base it on policy, and he is #1 on policy and he has proved that. I really do like him, I just don’t like repetitive speeches, when he could say so much more. I hope many read this and realize the good you have done and continue to do. Thank you for exposing how the media causes more problems and trouble than good and how unfair they have been to such a wonderful, smart, caring and accomplished woman. Melania Trump courageously opens her heart and parts of her life to write this book that lets all of us know so much better both Melania and Donald Trump - their values, their principle-centered leadership, their authentic caring for each other, their family, and the people of this Country, their love of America and what makes it great, and their commitment to service and tradition.     • Refreshingly Real
Before getting to the content, I'd like to address some of the utterly illogical comments in some reviews about there being some type of "smudges" on the book's cover. By the way, there were none on mine, but a book's physical condition should in no way affect its rating. Would they have given The Great Gatsby a mere two stars if their copy arrived with pizza stains on it? As for Melania's book, it is very real. It authentically captures her persona. Image and appearance are important to her. She isn't uncomfortable about discussing her lavish gowns for big events. She's not embarrassed about discussing her days as a model and how people commented on her beauty. She tells us that she and the president love music and how he pulls her in for a dance when it's played. She talks about their courtship. I ranked it just shy of five stars because she could have addressed Trump's numerous alleged extramarital affairs. By completing leaving them out, it seems like more of a campaign ad. Even though compared to others in the political spectrum, this is not pretentious drivel. It's a good perspective of the Trump Administration Not extremely insightful, not riveting. Not a page-turner. But very respectable. ... show more

Melania autobiography gives a personal perspective on her life. The book is interesting and takes readers on an intimate journey from Slovenia, modeling, moving to New York and eventually to the White House. It is a compelling narrative, easy to read, certainly kept my interest. She is well-spoken and strong. Her dedication to her family and personal values are apparent as she shares her life. I have been curious about her and in my opinion she has not received the recognition she deserves. She is a remarkable woman and one of our most intelligent and beautiful First Ladies. (I have ordered hundreds of new books and this is the first time a cover was smeared with something. It will not wash off.) ... show more
