I've been so pleasantly surprised by this product!! I went in sort of blind, fingers crossed, hoping I'd done enough research when I bought this. Not only did the grass FLOURISH and look pretty but it actually lasted through the VERY VERY COLD winter!!!! I could not believe it! I've had SEVERAL compliments and people have asked me what I used bc they've tried EVERYTHING under the sun in this crazy hot & freezing weather without much success. The only downside is the price!     • Grows fast, but got a lot of crab grass and weeds along with it.

Does grow faster than regular seed, but got alot more weeds and crab grass than with regular seed from Scotts. Perhaps that is why it grows so fast with all of the weed seed mixed in makes the yard green fast?

For the no quibble guarantee they insist on you mailing the bar code or your receipt to ohio. We have been communicating by photo/internet. Something tells me that by making you mail it, there is a large chance they will never see it. Amazon took care of one bag inside the 30. I will need to spend 10-12$ on postage so I get a delivery signature or I will lose my 60$ I plugged and scrapped the top of the soil and used wheat straw to hold in moisture. I planted this after getting a soil report and amending the soil Planted and kept ground wet/damp with sprinklers, got little rain as you can see in photos most of it still lies on the ground. The second bag I bought worked (foolish). 30 days return is not enough on something like this. I wasted a lot of money on the seed and on the water I used and my time to do it and to date I have not been helped. I submitted these photos to Scotts too. They put more chemical in the bag than seed, at least it appears that way. The 2x is complete baloney in NC piedmont. ... show more

I was cheap and just used a cup to spread this seed all over my lawn. Then I raked it like it said and watered it. The grass has come up everywhere I had planted it. It doesn't even mind growing in the shade. I am super happy with my purchase.
