Looks great! Wish it came with wall hooks. Only problem with it, it took me a good hour to untangle it. If you don’t mind the process, you may find it relaxing. Otherwise get ready for a stressful hour. The remote control doesn’t work for the lights- However, it somehow works on my smart TV. I was pointing at the lights when the TV starting reacting to it instead. I like the different modes. 13 is my favorite! I also love that it has the option to run on solar or charged by electricity. I’m glad this works without being plugged into the wall. Even with the issues I have, I still give this 5 stars! LOVE IT.

I’ve been reading the reviews and have been very surprised when people say they do not last long. My lights stay on most of the night I live in Utah so we get great sun. I’ve also had them for four years and I have had them out nonstop, at night 365 days. I’m now ordering a new one because I was able to get total worth out of my first four years. I have bird feeders for little birds in the same area and they love to hang out on them.

Okay, so the TL;DR is: We loved these lights, installed them on our porch and just let them run; they really became a part of the identity of our apartment, and we were super sad when they shorted out after a little less than a year. However, the seller reached out to us to refund the original order, no request to update the review, no conditions that we need to use the refund to purchase another set. So yeah, we definitely purchased another set! The solar panel and batter combine to provide us about 6-8 hours of lighted time after about 3-4 hours of direct sunlight during the day and the rest indirect. They have a lot of different flash modes, and a remote (but we just found our favorite flashing pattern and let them go; not sure where the remote even is at this point) so you don't have to go dig around for the button under the solar panel to change the flashing. They provide enough light to add atmosphere and make our porch comfortable to sit and have a cup of tea or smoke a cigar, and they're almost bright enough for us to eat comfortably out there; if we had them at eye level or higher, they'd be plenty bright, but they're just on the railing that's waist high. We definitely love these lights, and I highly recommend getting them if you think you like the look; they're every bit as great as they seem! ORGINAL REVIEW BELOW: Loved these things while they lasted so they get 2 stars. But porch lights shouldn't short out if they're tied to the bars of the porch and not touched. They made it 10 months and have us a nice gentle illumination and decoration. But now they just flicker weakly and rapidly. Would love to replace them with the same, but not if we just have to keep buying them over and over.

I was so excited about these when I got them, but they are packaged terribly. It took me about 30 minutes to untangle them because of the way they are packaged. The rats nest of wires makes it so these do not work properly- they stopped staying lit after 2 days. I figured that was a fluke so I exchanged them. The next set arrived in worse shape than the first and it took about 45 minutes to untangle them, which was a big waste of time- these don't stay lit either, unless I hold the wires in a very specific way. These lights are so cute but the mediocre packaging ruins them. I'll be returning the second set after wasting 45 minutes trying to untangle them. I'm certain if they were packaged this way, the wires wouldn't go bad so quickly. Very disappointing since they are so cute.

I love them. The settings are great (there are twinkling settings that are a really nice pace and don’t feel like I’m being accosted by a 10 year old with a flashlight playing with the on off switch) I also love that you can recharge these either Solar or plug them in and charge them through a USB port! Wow Now prepare yourself for the lights to be tangled. Yes it’s a pain to undo - but SO WORTH IT! I even wrote a tutorial for untangling these lights as follows: How to untangle these awesome lights. Here are the steps to untangle the lights. Read all steps first before starting. Step 1 - Grab some patience Step 2 - Get a fancy drink (because you why not treat yourself while you endure this activity) Step 3 - Put on some music Step 4 - have a large clear space to work -some open floor space works nice for this. Step 5 - Lay down the lights on the floor it’s easier to untangle when they are not constantly sliding out of your hands. Step 6 - Unravel what you can while the twist ties are still on. Step 7 - (optional) connect the solar panel piece to the lights. (Turn them on a pleasant setting that will inspire patience and possibly make untangle them less stressful. Step 8 - Then unwind the twist ties. Step 9 - OK (do you know the app/games twisted tangle or tangle master any of those well this is a real life version of that.) find a star or moon that looks like it’s nearly the "top" of your wire pile and then move it across until it no longer overlaps any wires, repeat this with next moon or star. (remember use patience from step 1) Step 10 - Carefully hang untangled lights and enjoy! You did it (you won the game "lights untangled"

I hung the stars and moons in my front yard between two trees and I LOVE them. My neighbor loved them so much she bought them also in multicolor. I bought the white lights. They are well constructed and the lights are so pretty. The remote is great and I get to change the twinkle type when I want. The lights last well into overnight. Very happy with my purchase!!!
