Read/write speeds were on the slower side, but reasonable for normal use. I ran h2testw to verify the capacity and it is indeed 128gb as stated. The hole only barely fits a standard size key ring, and cannot rotate freely around it in the manner you'd expect. You'll need a smaller metal loop to act as a link, which does not come with the drive. It did not come close to fitting my keysmart, which is quite disappointing. I'm returning mine due to the key hole issue, but otherwise it seems as advertised.

I do a lot of computer work and always found myself needing a flash drive. This thing is great! I keep it on my keychain at all times and is holding up well after 2 months. PROS: * it looks cool! (I donno if the tools are really useable in real life, but it is more interesting than a plain usb drive) * it's got a lot of storage (I'm cheap, so 128g is really cool!) * it survives keychain life (no moving pieces to fall off and no cap to lose) * it's a little bit magnetic (when you drop your keys between your seat and the center console you never know what it will find) CONS: * not invincible (after a few weeks the cool finish started to come off; the end is framed in aluminum, so if you drop it you may have to re-shape it before inserting) * while cool, the bottle opener feature does tend to get caught on things like your pocket or other items on your keychain (but once you get used to it it's fine) Overall I'm glad I got one! It has really come in handy and I feel cool whipping out a multitool flash drive. Will buy again if it breaks!

Durable, magnets, big capacity, Kinda hard to open a beer with, but it works, Box opener is a bit of a stretch, i used it to open a box of hard drives at work and it kinda failed since it had a small loop ring on it attached to my keys, have not had issues of transfer speeds like other reviews but i use this for Recovery tools and OS install and other IT things.

The media could not be loaded. Some people claim they got a fake or that it has low cache memory, the list goes on. I ran some real-world tests instead of some HD benchmark and was pleasantly surprised. Small files write more slowly than large ones for some reason (explain the math to me, please!). Anyway, I wasn't even using a 3.2 port for my tests and, yesterday, it fluctuated between 130 and140 MB/s consistently! My video today shows around 80ish for some reason. I had to redo my system today so I think that affected the speed. Need to dig deep to find out why. Anyway, look at my video (I have a speech impediment and sound like a 14-year-old) and see me doing a real-world test, and I think you'll be impressed.

Granted that since the original Mac of the 80's, Apple has never been able to build an operating system that can do simply file copying reliably, much less fast. However, this thing is really slow on both Macbook Pro's, esp. for a usb3 - slower than my usb2's -- difficult to inject into port. Really cool design, which is why I still have it in my gizmo collection, but it's not really a useful backup drive.
