Purchased 2x8 GB 3200 kit to upgrade my new Acer Nitro 5 5600H RTX 3060 laptop. The version of the laptop I purchased came with a single 8GB 3200 stick of DDR4 RAM. The Ryzen 5600H processor performs significantly better with dual channel ram (2 sticks). I ran the built in benchmarks for Cyberpunk 2077 and Shadow of the Tomb Raider and saw huge improvements after upgrading the kits. At medium and low settings the FPS was doubled from the 60 FPS range to 110s and 120s in both game benchmarks. At high settings Cyberpunk went from 47 avg FPS to 67. Tomb Raider benchmark ran at 59 after upgrade (would not run before, would crash). Benchmarks were run at 1080p and DLSS was on in each case. I used the GE Experience App to set the graphics settings. The Cyberpunk High settings included ray tracing. Visually the games looked smoother and had less artifacts after the upgrade. Would other RAM give similar results? Probably. I just wanted to showcase how well my system performed with the upgrade to this RAM kit. Laptop specs : RZ09-0301 - Razer blade 15 2019 mid-advanced w/2080 Issue: Freezes Windows 10 or 11 when XMP 1.35v with CL16 is enabled within UEFI. It is not a problem with the RAM but rather with the laptop. I did not dig too deep into it but it would seem it is a voltage issue, most likely the laptop is only feeding 1.2v. Thoughts: I had to return them but for the price, they are of great value. The product page is a bit misleading unless you are familiar with overclocks or XMP profiles however I recommend them for anyone needing cheap ram and does not care for the high clocks CL22. ... show more

    • Great RAM for Asus ROG M16 GU603HM!

My Asus ROG M16 has 8GB solders with 1 expandable slot. It came with 16GB, but I was maxing that out while editing 4k videos and images. I originally purchased a 16GB DDR4 3200MHz CL22 CRUCIAL Ram stick, and when installed it was only running at 2666MHz. While on forums and reddit people with the exact laptop were running the exact RAM at 3200MHz, I was only seeing the 2666MHz. I talked with ASUS support and Crucial support to try and get it to work.... nothing... After trying everything possible to get the Crucial RAM to work, I gave up and ordered this TeamGroup RAM. I am sure glad I did! It is running at the proper 3200MHz, it has a CL16 vs the CL22 of most RAM AND I am seeing excellent performance gains! More FPS while gaming and faster speeds while editing!
