Since it is difficult to tell the color and warmth of a bulb from a picture, I was worried these might be a sick dim yellow color. I'm happy to see the bright, warm light. I only needed 50' but ordered 100' because I figured I'd have to double back, so there would be more bulbs per foot to be bright enough. They are about every three feet. They are plenty bright, but not so bright that it kills the mood they are supposed to set. However, I am not at all happy with how easily they tangled when trying to unroll them. Another reviewer said they come tangled, mine didn't come tangled, but they soon became tangled. They are looped around in a large circle and folded in half. It took about 15 minutes to undo.

The lights worked well but packing needs to be improved. When each string of lights was unboxed, they seemed to be packed neatly. However, there were no directions on unravelling them to avoid tangling the string/lights. What should have taken less than ten or fifteen minutes to unpack and hang the lights turned into a three-hour ordeal. The manufacturer needs to determine a better way of packing them, so they do not get tangled when they are unpacked.

My wife's theme teaching at school this year is Let your light shine. All the bulletin board and classroom door decorations has light bulbs on it. She wanted an Edison style light bulb string to have in the classroom, but did not want to run up the electrical bill for the school. These fit the bill. They are LED so don't cost much to have on and the bonus is that they are not glass and there is much less worry about breaking and being a danger to the kids. The number of lights in the string and length was perfect for the location she hung these in her classroom. They are stylish enough to use at our house when the school year is done.

The design and overall look of these lights is exquisite. I love how they drop from the main cord by a T adapter. They look classic while reducing stress on the bulbs. The bulbs themselves, while plastic, look like glass Edison bulbs without the fragility and they emit a bright warm white light which is just so inviting. Install is easy and you get zip ties and hooks to aid in the process along with one extra bulb. Each T adapter has a low profile loop to run a hook through if desired. I need two sets of these string lights to surround my patio, which isn't a problem since you can connect up to 4 additional strands. Worth noting - Temperature rating is from -4 to 140° F and these string lights are recommended for temporary (90 day max) usage only. For appearance, durability and value, I am very comfortable recommending these lights. 4 Stars.

The set up for this wasn't so bad. There is no actually set up to the item itself, just to where you would like it to go. The assembly mostly consist of items needed to hang it up, in which it is not too heavy so it won't take up much. The length is very long and the cord extends long enough so that you can plug it in and still be able to hang it without bulbs being really low. The lighting is not too bright nor is it too dim. It keeps a nice lighting especially as you are sitting outside enjoying the night skies. This is definitely great for outdoor use but I can imagine even indoor use is okay because of the lighting level for decorative use.
