Have been using it quite often, about every 3 or 4 days for months now. Works as expected. It is well built and is pretty forgiving as I have dropped a few times and it hasn't given up yet. The accessories that came with it are very handy in that I have found special uses for some of them. If I manage to break this one I would not hesitate to order another a I have found it fit for purpose and good quality.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: The accessories are a bit cheap and the gun overheats kinda fast, but it's decent for the price and for light level work. I'd not use it for large or professional use though.

I love this heat gun. Purchased for various home uses. Heats up quickly. Temperatures seem to be accurate. Temp adjustment knob with pictures is easy to use. Its worked for everything Ive used it for so far. So far good quality and durable. The only problem Ive noted is the cord needs to be secured somehow before using the stand feature because it is heavy and will pull the gun off the table if its left hanging unsecured. The price was reasonable.

I returned the first one of these I ordered because of the instruction manual being so poorly written that I thought the heat gun was defective. It wasn't. The 1600 watt does not have an adjustment wheel at the back of the gun. This is not mentioned in the manual! A YouTube video I checked is for the 1800 watt gun and showed that the temperature can be adjusted by rotating the wheel at the rear end of the gun. All the icons are there, but you just can't adjust it on the 1600 watt gun. The 2 position trigger is the only heat control on the 1600 watt gun.

I am using this heat gun to soften foam for making cosplay armor. It functions great, heats fast and is easy to use. The cord is long enough to give you room to use it. The different nozzle heads are great and I haven't used all of them, it's good to have them if needed. The big key to this product is that it features an integrated stand which allows you to work hands free and not have one hand on the heat gun and one of the material. HUGE PLUS! Dual temp is nice as well as the cool down function.

The control knob on the end is loose and there are numbers indicating different modes but no arrow or dot to know where you are at with them. Bad enough control knob I think it will be returned and I will find another one.
