Overall this is a very good value for the price and includes almost everything you need to get started with soldering (you should also buy some flux and a brass sponge; see below). Here is my review of each item that comes in the kit: The iron: Heats up fast and holds its heat well. The tips are not great quality but it's nice that it comes with several different ones. The temperature control seems to work great as far as I can tell. The station: Really nice. The iron holder is stable and the iron doesn't touch any plastic when it's in it. The helping hands are very sturdy and have a thick coating on their clips so you won't scratch your PCB. The solder holder is a bit flimsier but it is wide enough for two reels of solder side by side which is nice so that you can have different diameters of solder. The auto-off feature works and can be adjusted to whatever time you want. It has temp in Celcius or Farenheit, though I expect most people will just use Celcius. The solder sucker: Pretty basic, but I used it a few times and it works. The sponge: I recommend getting a real brass sponge instead. You can buy one separately for about $10. The tweezers: Really nice, actually! They have a very strong spring to them which makes them easier to control and are rubber coated except at the tips which keeps them from slipping. Having both a straight and a curved is helpful. The screwdriver: It's magnetic, which is pretty handy. PH1 I think. I think the steel is probably low grade but that's fine. The wrench: Yep. It's a wrench. Gets the job done but nothing fancy.

A great value. Probably not professional grade, but a great value for a hobbyist like me. This greatly improved my soldering skills. i tried various methods of controlling the heat on my standard Weller soldering iron, but I spent most my time doing that and cleaning it once it got too hot. This controls the heat very well, the heat can be read in either Centigrade or Farenheit, and you can really dial it in. i think that it will last a while with careful use. Comes with all the stuff you need to solder. I suppose the included solder isn't very good, I use a 64/37 at about 390 F.

At first I was very skeptical that this was just another cheap item from China. After using this soldering station for a day or so, I was surprised to find that it worked quite well. This unit is a handy compact solder station with changeable tips, small roll of solder, a solder sucker, and tip cleaner all included. The tip temperature is easily adjustable, and appears stable. I have used it throughout the day and can report that the unit works very well for average circuit board desoldering or repair. I would recommend this unit to a friend in the electronics trade or to be used for hobby projects.

I like this set. It’s not professional rated. I have an iron I carry with me but for the amount of soldering I do this thing is great. Came with a couple different pair of decent tweezers. Believe it or now a decent Philips screwdriver. I used to have one just like it that used for years. This setup is nice for a table top. Nice choice in tips. Decent temperature control. Comes with some solder, wire mesh and a sponge. It has a desoldering tool. I have a desoldering iron I’ve never used. Going to try them out soon. It looks like it should hold up for a while. I seen some complaints about the alligator clips being weak. They aren’t going to hold a circuit board for you but they’ll hold some wires and whatever contacts you’re working on. It has deg C and F and it can be calibrated and it automatically shuts off and you can change the length of time for that too. Of course there are things that could be better. It would be nice if the cord was resistant to heat. I’m left handed so it’s backward for me. Seems like it should be great for someone like me who needs it here and there. If I was using it everyday I’d obviously buy something higher quality.

This little thing is a beast. You can't beat the price and the quality is great. It came with almost everything I needed. Just had to buy flux and desoldering braid. I bought this to replace the thumb sticks on my PS5 controller and it worked great. Heats up very quickly and maintains the heat. The helping hands were a very valuable tool for my project. It held the motherboard for me while I soldered. Got the job done and I would recommend it to anyone.

It works, temp is relatively accurate, it heats fast and it didn't catch on fire. That is what you REALLY wanted to know, not "I liked the color and it shipped fast". Bro, it didn't catch fire. I have used it 8x so far. That is what you needed to know.

Great. soldering machine. has different tips, diff adjustable settings.... heats up quick, has good power, durable and good temp control. ONLY ....... have to be careful when laying down the tip so as to now burn table. good price.
